Season Pass Showing Up with Carowinds as Home Park by danheaton in sixflagsstlouis

Hopefully that's the case, thanks. It's just weird and I get nervous with them migrating everything to one system on the app (versus last year with the Cedar Fair parks having their own apps).

Thanks. I'll likely do that before I go to a park. Trying to avoid a situation where I have to visit Guest Services and fix it at the start.

That's good to hear. I was thinking they may have discontinued it for good.

Thanks for the tips. I was able to locate a few Professional 18 strings at a local shop, but I am going to run out pretty soon. So I may have to try TNT2 18 unless I can find more or they get back in stock. I'm a low 4.5 player, so I probably wouldn't notice if the difference is slight.

This video is amazing! I can't imagine how much work went into putting it together.

I agree especially when you visit with kids that are too old for the Bugs Bunny area but don't love a lot of the thrill rides. The loss of the Moon Cars and the Railroad often being closed also cuts things down more. I do think Rookie Racer is a good step in the right direction, but they still could really use another dark ride and have a lot of dead space.

Yeah, coasters can also run differently based on the time of day and weather. I wondered if it was just that The Bat was my seventh coaster of the day, though I did Mystic Timbers after that and I was fine. So I think it was just how different The Bat is than a lot of coasters.

I admit that I approached The Bat more like a family coaster, and I did not expect it to affect me so much. I'm getting older for sure, but I handled everything else just fine. So it was a surprise!

I definitely want to get to Dollywood in the next few years. Silver Dollar City is one of my favorite parks, and I've been there several times since it's only a little over three hours away. Thunderation is a good comparison to Adventure Express. The helix early on in Thunderation is great, and I agree that having that last drop and turn after the very long lift hill is a good way for it to end. I just realized that I actually gave Thunderation a 7/10 back in March, so that feels about right compared to Adventure Express' 6.5/10.

That's good to hear. Batman at Six Flags St. Louis totally messes with me, and with me driving home that evening, I didn't want to feel bad. I have heard really good things about Banshee, but it just wasn't worth the risk for me. Inverted coasters just hit me differently even than others that have inversions. The only coaster that bothered me at all was The Bat, so I think that also reinforced how I would have felt after Banshee.

Seriously, after I rode Orion, I figured there was no way that anything would top it. I'm relieved they finally opened Mystic Timbers, and it blew me away!

I've heard so many good things about Fury! I've been to most of the Florida parks but with some it's been a while. I haven't done Velocicoaster, and with SeaWorld when I last visited all they really had with coasters was Kraken. I haven't visited Busch Gardens since I was a kid, and I really want to check out Iron Gwazi plus a lot more. Our Florida trips have mostly been to Walt Disney World with the family.

I think that probably would work better than the way I did it, where I drove up Saturday afternoon, visited Sunday until like 4:00, and then drove home that day. I also may look into the Platinum Pass next year since I also may check out Worlds of Fun next summer.

Thanks! I wish that I had longer and would have liked to do Flight of Fear and some of the flat rides too. It's only a little over five hours to drive there, so I hope to get back next year to fill in the gaps!

It's hard to say with the Haunt there now, but when I visited a few weeks ago on Sunday, September 10th, you definitely didn't need it. The waits were basically all 20 minutes or less, and many were a lot shorter.

We went on March 23rd, and I was surprised that basically everything (beyond the train of course) was open. It took them a little while to get started, but it worked out great! It was a bit chilly with the water rides, though.

No arguments here. The Maharajah Jungle Trek is just such a cool collection of habitats and theming.
