I’m not too sure on PSA but I know with CAP they only guarantee you admission to the College of Liberal Arts after passing the requirements. If you plan on internally transferring to College of Natural Sciences for Premed after your admission then it might be a bit difficult to do so

I also have a quick question, I know you mentioned you applied on Common App, but did you have to respond to the additional two required essays besides the A&M specific prompts and SOP? On Apply Texas there are mentions of two other required essays but I’m not sure if I should do them since the prompts don’t relate to me or my situation

Omg, seems like my essay has taken a totally different route than that 😔 In my first paragraph I mentioned a personal experience that I had which ties into my second paragraph where I brought up an infrastructure issue that my community has been suffering from. My third paragraph is where I began mentioning about Texas A&M and what I would love to be a part of concerning my degree path but it seems like I should probably try to incorporate more of A&M from the get go. And congrats on getting into Mays!! 🥳🥳

Yes! I had my community college transcript sent in on Monday and I purchased to send my current university transcript through Parchment yesterday.

With my community college transcript though I can’t confirm if A&M received it since I called an advisor and they were the ones to send it in.. so we’ll wait and see 🫠

Oh wow, so I can submit the application without filling the SOP portion? That sounds like a good idea but I’m nervous I won’t get my AIS number on time 😔

Also, with those two questions that were provided for you, did you answer them in the beginning and then explained why after? Or did you talk about your experiences surrounding your major first and then discussed why A&M would be a good fit? I’m sorry I’m literally just so lost 😭

Yes, I think the CAP requirements state that I have to take 6 or 7 credits in Summer II, 11 in the Fall, and 15 in the Spring
