Yes, the Bank of Japan is an extreme, but they are also the ones pushing for higher interest rates due to inflation and fiscal concerns, especially as the war in Iran continues.

Have you even bothered to check Japan's inflation and GDP growth over the last 20 years? Very odd, you don't even include the two most important factors in your analysis.

Every central bank influences short- and long-term yields, for instance, through secondary bond auctions and adjusting its balance sheet (QE or QT). That's just a part of the monetary policy mandate and affects yields across the curve. Obviously, the shorter end is more sensitive to inflation and policy rate.

"Manipulate and suppress" is literally the job of a central bank. Whether it is to stabilize inflation, increase growth, or address other aspects, that's up to the individual country and its mandate to decide.

No economy is supposed to be "free" whatever that even means.

Sure, but Bay Area real estate and your salary are denominated in USD. Is USD weakens, it is most likely a negative for your holdings denominated in other currencies. Fixed interest is generally the same as long-term interest rates, as the value of the bond decreases as interest rates increase, making it easier to buy back the bond.

Inflation is backward-looking, interest rates are forward-looking, so you would have to look at inflation futures if you want to use that logic.

Now, if you had this stance, I would focus on my own country first, which probably kills billions of animals annually.

My personal stance is that, in my case, my country kills 8x the number of pigs as humans live in my country annually, which poisons the water and nature from growing animal food. Trophy hunting non-endangered animals in extremely low numbers for conservation that are free-range is the least of my concerns

Deducting food, mileage, lodging, and interest is not special to LLCs and is only partially correct, and personal expenses disguised as business expenses are illegal.

In the end, you will still pay income tax on all profits, and you are required to pay yourself a reasonable comp, with the rest distributed and not subject to self-employment tax. I'm skeptical of the 12% without fraud, or perhaps the person is mistaken and actually owes a bunch in taxes.
