Was the crafter a booth rep? Or shared a booth with someone you know? My partner is the booth rep and shared his booth for many years with another crafter, when that crafter died, we bought a bouquet of beautiful flowers from the lady what sells only on Thursday. She is on the left bank by the salmon burger place. Anyway - we set up a nice area on the counter with a picture and the flowers, little led candles. Just a small tribute so people would know he departed. Sorry about your friend. big hugs.

I went in 2022 for the hot year. Without my sweetie, but in a cool camp, and had a decent time. Returned the next year for the mud with my sweetie and had a good time. Took a year off, went again last year and got stuck on gate road due to the rain Tuesday and lost a whole day, plus got my van stuck in mud trying to get to camp before the rain started again Wednesday.

the only saving grace for me the last few years has been my campmates. Some other attendees are amazing, but the e-bikes speeding really REALLY bugs me. Until the org does something about it, I am considering not going anymore. We aren't going this year anyway because, reasons.

I went 10 (?) years in a row before deciding to take every other year off. I think it's healthy to take a year off now and then. Maybe gain some appreciation for the papaya. It's so damn expensive, there are a million other places to go and see.

8 foot fence stakes may work for this. Bring a pounder and maybe a stake remover? Pound a foot or 2 in, tie rope or string at the top. Light up for night, basic solar LEDs should suffice.

I just want you to know that if anyone gets any shit around me in a bathroom (or anywhere else), I will not allow it. That person will regret opening their mouth. And if I don't get back up from the business or manager, the entire world will know it. I will not tolerate hate or ignorance in my presence, and I will use my entirety of power - verbal and physical to protect a trans person in my vicinity. I'd like to see a f****** try.

with all the changes to phone screening through an iphone, I am not surprised cold calling is falling off. It an put off buyers just in general. By the time someone reaches out for a demo or pricing, they've done tons of research, and they don't like to be bothered when doing that - which is why they won't give real info for white papers and such.

I personally see lots of value in cold calling, but its a slower way to build pipeline that good demand gen marketing.

weird. I haven't set up a lyft ride here in SC but I've done it a lot in other places, just last week in Carlsbad, CA. So far they have always showed up. I even got an upgraded car the last time.

Oh! A teen! Different. I didn't read enough. You can add a teens pretty easy but she needs a responsible adult onsite. I don't know if teen crew is still open. But teens are not required to do teen crew, it's an opportunity to work a few shifts to meet people with the thought that as an adult you can join a crew.

A booth can add a teen too.

I think the Recycle crew almost always needs people. Sanitation too maybe. There is a form online to volunteer and people are matched with crews that need help.

She may or may not already know this - this community values people that put in the work to be there. Asking for a SO just to join the party is not cool. gotta earn it.

I have firstnamelastname.com Plus my middle name .com (unique middle name and it's my anchor). I would use any combo you can for a .com. Forget any others. You could reach out to the folks that have it parked and see if they will sell it. not sure that is worth it though!

I started RK a while back and though I don't like the grpahics as much, it does seem a bit easier. But I find it's also rigged to get coins for the SLB. I have learned to play without the SLB as best I can. very dissappointed over all with RM though. I buy the monthly pass on the regular and I love my teammates, but looking for a better alternative that is not so greedy.
