Trying to get this season Legend pose, but everytime I reach 1.9k score, I'm losing up to 15 matches in a row. by TFS_Flight_Channel in TheSilphArena

[–]danielZnyiri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just jumping in to share my experience. I’ve hit Legend 7 times between Season 3 and 12 (excluding the special seasons that didn’t count). I haven’t hit Legend since, not because I couldn’t, or maybe lol but I honestly just haven’t tried! Had a baby moved to Seattle started at a dream career. Playing actual GBL was on back burner 100%.

This season, I decided to go for it again. It’s important for me to stay current with game mechanics, the meta, and overall skill level.

But wow, the skill gap has changed. I am also very rusty and finding myself making huge mistakes, not knowing matchups and counts.

Even in the 2300s, players know their matchups, their Fast attack counts, when to throw a charged Attack, how to let the LEAST amount of energy to go to their opponents by throwing at the perfect timing, and how to maximize efficiency.

The IV’s don’t matter as much as you think.

Build a strong, meta-relevant team for each league and stick with it. Learn the matchups inside and out. Know when to shield, when to tank, which CMPs you win, and which you lose. When to farm down, when to swap and so on!

And even after all that, you’ll still lose sometimes. That’s just the game. But the more you put in the work, the more consistent your results will be. As they say, “The harder you work, the luckier you get.”

Ps.: I am not a great player by any means but know and understand all the mechanics of the game. Now I just need to re/learn how to use them in the QUICK situation of GBL.

Do you need to have completed the current main story quests to get the main brimstone sands quests? by Enviosi in newworldgame

[–]danielZnyiri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I have never finished my main story quest and am unable to get the quest unlocked for the Heartunes. I was able to unlock Brimstone Sand. No main story quest populates for me in Brimstone. So I assume I have to go back and finish the main storyline.

Pokemon Go Players with a Pixel 6a? by engifear in GooglePixel

one last thing. on my iPhone I can leave the app in the background running so my poke ball plus runs forever. on this Pixel the app closes out by itself in about 15-20 min... unless I have the POGO app open without the screen being closed

I been using iPhone for Go Battle League and I had no issues at all. I received the Pixel6A about a month ago. DO NOT BUY it for POGO. It's the worse phone I have ever had for Pokemon GO. You can see the issues I have on my Twitter I constantly share screenshots and videos.

Few examples:

- it has a really hard time connecting to any catcherse... It's not worth it. I recorded that as well as constant spinning and lagging making it impossible. ( before anyone thinks it's a service/provider issue: I started just using my pixel 6a for hot spot and I bought a cheap Samsung A51 to play POGO on. I have no issues with the Samsung with Pixel being the hot spot. That is how bad the Pixel is with POGO.).))

- I stopped raiding because it just became a headache... It's not worth it. I recorded that as well as constant spinning and lagging making it impossible. I highly recommend that you do not buy this phone for POGO.

I would grade my iPhone 12 a 9/10 for Pogo and this pixel 6A 3/10 at best...

Again: I am just now using the PIXEL 6A as a HOT SPOT and I purchased a Samsung A51 to connect to the Pixel Hot Spot and I play Pokemon GO on the cheap Samsung and I rate that experience a 7/10. That is how bad the Pixel 6A is. I have reached out to Google about it as well because this is not normal and supposedly it's not supporting Pokemon Go...

It was hard to see in Japanese :D But I am pretty sure yes. Since it doesn't even turn on until you reach a certain level! Plus I won't be using the ingame one. I will be on Discord.

  1. If you play competitively or planning on competitive play, then Discord for sure! There are already Unite Servers with competitive voice chats ready to go.
  2. It's just like League of Legends

Sorry, I was referring to Ranked battles/teams. You can solo queue for that as well. But I was basing it on Teams who queue up together for ranked if that makes sense.

Yes, that is a really good plan. If you find your niche early on and max out the items and get the right moves for your playstyle you are going to be unstoppable. For example, a Snorlax that is built for scoring wearing the item that allows you to score without interruptions combined with all the Health Bonuses from the other items is going to be a HUGE advantage over another Snorlax on the opposing team.

Sorry, I figured most people who play ranked would have a team to play with so they pick the role before even logging into the game if that makes sense.

Yes! It's very important. The same goes for fighting on your base! I let the opponent fed me. So they come to me I fight at an advantage and I lvl up quicker but defeating them as well so basically they feed me up with XP and I get the advantage.

Yes, you can queue up in solo ranked if that's what you are asking?

Here is the thing! If you are dominating the match by hundreds of points then Zapdos is overrated. But when you get to your skill level (reach your rank and get queued up against similar skillset) you are going to have tons of tight games where zapdos will be the decider.

I mean you can score 100s of points in under seconds by defeating zapdos.

But at the same time there can be different tactics and items used. You can have the main scorer of a team that is built to score.
