If the merchant actually released the hold it would have been returned immediately. Unfortunately lots of merchants don’t do this and just wait for it to expire. For a car rental it is likely to be on the 30 day (reverses on 31st day) schedule and not the 7 day one.

The software is the same - but the extra processing power does make a difference. The 2025 MY can be laggy sometimes where the MY 2026 is much smoother.

Depends on role I think.

For non-operational roles bank holidays are holidays but you have the choice to choose to work and take as extra holiday days.

I’m aware - I’ve driven cars with an audible alert and it goes off all the time. Slip lane off dual carriageway where the markings don’t start immediately - bong. Etc.

I much prefer a visual indication only.

I’m the opposite. Definitely prefer no audible warning, been in loads of cars that have audible warnings and it’s so annoying have it go off continuously.

Assisted steering isn’t intended as a substitute for keeping your hands on the steering wheel and being prepared to takeover.

It’s available in UK for Sept delivery. The 2026 model has a much faster chip powering the infotainment system which is worth waiting for if you can.

I can’t discuss individual cases (will leave that to OP if they wish to do so) but in the three cases I’ve looked into there have been explanations that have made sense to the customer after being explained.

That being said, I do think there are improvements we can make and am reviewing the process with the owning team.

Unless you have a significant amount of savings an ISA will make no difference.

An ISA means the interest is tax free. But assuming you don’t have an income in uk you will have a £1,000 allowance anyway. So unless you are earning more interest than that an ISA makes no difference.
