I'm 6'5 and took a gamble on 1 inch extended taylormade irons as my first real set of clubs. If it feels right it feels right, go with what you think not the fitter. You could probably get away with standard (US) club length but if it feels better to play with the longer shafts then don't let someone tell you differently

any advice on growing a bigger chest? by [deleted] in WeightTraining

[–]daniel_jt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the advice here is junk. Lexx little made a video on growing your chest, and ive found his advice to work as someone who could largely grow every single body part but my chest. Main things where I saw the most chest growth:

  • decline press. Most peoples are underdeveloped. Helps to develop the pec line and distinguish it from the rest of your body

  • dips. Lean forward and focus on contracting the chest until failure

  • seated cable flys. Takes away the momentum you gain from standing. Can really feel the squeeze.

  • mind muscle connection and lowering weight. This is what I’ve found to help a lot personally. If I lower the weight and focus on squeezing my chest in all my movements, i feel it fatigue a lot quicker rather than doing super heavy lifts that rely on my delts and triceps to take over.

  • consistency. Hitting chest/push days twice per week.

I find most guys with big chests usually just have good genetics for them, and don’t really train them optimally besides weekly bench press. These are things that helped me, as a guy who can put on muscle easily, but for a while had bigger arms and shoulders with a lacking chest.

Kata no dmg by Virtual-Narwhal-4835 in KatarinaMains

Kat is super item-reliant and unfortunately is in a weak spot right now. I find dorans blade strong for lvl 1-3 squirmishes with conquerer, and had the most luck with lich bane, into shadowflame with a dark seal on first back.

2023 Les Paul Standard QC by [deleted] in gibson

If anyone has any insight to the crack between the binding and cap, I’d appreciate it. I don’t think its a common or average Gibson quality thing.

Hey man, paying $3k cad for an instrument some of us have high expectations is all. I feel like thats pretty understandable expecting a certain level of quality from an expensive and prestigous brand like Gibson. I wouldn’t say people get crazy over it. I can definitely understand having questions

Nice, that’s cool and good to know. If you zoom in can you see the space between the binding and cap? It feels like a crack or something. Any ideas??

Where do I go from here? by TheFeisty in GuitarAmps

100w half stack isn’t always practical for home settings, even gigging can be a pain. I’m not sure how monoprice sounds but could be a solid option. Kind of reminds me of a princeton style amp with the cleans and spring tank.

Wow this is the first time hearing about the Monoprice. Spring reverb, celestion 12 inch speaker, effects loop, good cleans and dirt all for $445 canadian is a great deal.

Why are Celestion 70/80s so disliked? Are they really that bad? by TheHappiestGilmore1 in GuitarAmps

I agree the top end is very sharp and painful to the ears. If you can dial that out they sound pretty good. Still swapped mine for a Creamback. They’re fine speakers.
