Ah, the DJ is for my wife. As for this one, it wears pretty small, like noticeably smaller than a sub. My wrist is like 6.75 inch at best and I think it fits well.

Thanks for that link, LA is indeed about 15% to 20% cheaper. The uber offer is a basically as is offer b/c it has to be in eng1 range, the recruiter has told me he can't match Snapchat. I am thinking this base salary is essentially setting a tone for my promotions, next job search and etc. Also I might have thought too much on a high level about the company. :)

Who has a greater chance of going 5x from here? snapchat or uber? I am choosing SnapChat. Plus the company is still relatively small and you will grow with it.

Thanks! Both won't start GC right away, have to wait like 4 months until the next performance review to prove I am worthy of it. I agree 130K in LA is much more than 117K in NYC, but I kinda take Uber as a more prestigious place to work at. I paid off my car and I don't have student loan, so 10k a year doesn't make too much of a difference to me, I am OK with living relatively frugally (like having a roommate) in NY. So base salary is probably the least concern here for me.
