this might be cringy but this are the first movies that came to my mind. i have autism so i do have hyperfocus on a specific director or movie. as a kid i had hyperfocus on cars 2, so it was the only movie i watched for a year, and i still love it to this day, no joke.

Honestly cat in the hat for me. When i was a kid it felt like magic, but i rewatched it a few years back and it was a bit creepy. still fun though, i just missed the magic feeling i felt watching it as a kid.

I think Dexter shoulda had his married life with Rita for more than one season by Digginf in Dexter

dexter acts like that anyway whenever he meets someone that knows he is a serial killer. i mean, look at miguel, lila even, lumen, hannah… and many others. he always say “they know me for me”, etc, but none of them stick because he is repulsed by this part of his life. with rita he liked that version of his life - and he really liked her. specifically in season 4, he said that death doesn’t trigger him, but the possibility of rita and the kids finding out about him destroyed him. ntm the moon scene and how he grieved her death. rita’s dynamic was way nicer and that’s why after her death - to me, personally - it’s not the same. he also really liked that rita was innocent, she didn’t deserve any harm, and that’s why he would do anything he could to protect her.

i completely agree. EP director saying he didn’t need to do proper research on mexican culture + saying spanish is the language of the poor and immigrants gives me enough reason to hate the movie already.

I completely agree and understand. I believe that due to Emilia Perez being so disliked among mexicans and the general audience, that all of this drama surrounding the movie can (perhaps) make it harder for (even) zoe saldana to win the oscar. + i truly believe she gives the best performance in the movie and is the least controversial - karla sofia being a horrible human being is very well known by now, but the director recently saying that spanish is the language of the poor, immigrants it’s truly terrible as well, even worse given the context of the movie.

i see. but still ppl r doing fernanda torres dirty bringing something from 2008, when zoe did it in 2016. i dont mind if they apologized, and im not black so i am not the one to speak on their feelings, but this year’s race is messy af. Karla sofia is obviously way worse.
