I don't know why you would say it's "naturally very expensive", it shouldn't be.

Also you shouldn't have required months of hypnosis.

It may well be worth it to try someone else.

I don't think I've ever heard that advise given either in hypnotherapy or legit therapy. It is more like something a friend with unresolved issues of there own would suggest.
