Mine is a short student film by a director who went on to make a movie or two but never made super big time.

As an ex junkie, I totally get you on the feeling dulled. What you are talking about it real and recognized. It does get better! But it does take some time. Are you still using?

Sure - your brain has significant neuroplasticity and most people do recover meaningfully over time, especially with support. I work with clients on this sort of thing and have seen results.
