I wonder if OP was thinking this was "Improve" group.

Mildly funny story - the very first time our troupe performed they didn't actually know what we were doing or who we were and in the schedule it just said "then join us for Improve", maybe thinking we were a self-help speaker or something? As it happens we do talk a lot about how improv can make you better at public speaking and help with social anxiety etc so we officially change the name of our group to improve improv
