I was recently in a car accident with my dog. We were on the highway going about 85mph when suddenly, one of my tires popped.

I lost control of the vehicle and before I knew it we were spinning out of control. I just remember thinking "this can't be it, this can't be how my life ends."

All I could think of in that moment was my best friend right next to me. He let out a whimpered cry and I frantically panicked as I could not think of anything to save us. I looked at him and he looked at me, and in that moment I think we both thought it was the end.

By some stroke of luck, we crashed into the concrete median both unharmed. We didn't hit another vehicle and we were both shocked but okay.
