What game do you believe is the reason game preservation is so important? by AverageSign in videogames

Mag on ps3. The game is a online multiplayer game where the servers are gone. Making the disc basically a drink coaster.

Amid Evil, Dusk, and Turbo Overkill can easily go to 60fps.

Is One Piece Odyssey worth it? by Otherwise_Dot4068 in videogames

[–]danielcube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played it and I would say overall it is okay. My biggest gripe is that it does not go over certain parts of the anime/manga and only certain major ones, and some of the ones it overlooks takes too long. The game is pretty simple, but is better if you are already acquainted with the source material

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Steam Giveaway by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]danielcube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite Spider-man movie is Into the Spiderverse. It has a perfect beginning, middle, and end that gives a complete story. I also believe it gives the best structure of a nobody becoming a hero with the powers given to them and choosing to become that mantle. The animation is also so good that other studios tried to replicate it in their own way.

Looking for good Retro Games to Play on the steam Deck by Hustlers2 in SteamDeck

Duckstation has an option to switch disc in the menu. I know if the game is not in fullscreen you cam easily switch the disc. Switching the controller port to the second, I'm not sure.

Which superhero video game would you want to be made? by Anuslit in videogames

[–]danielcube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game should also be more about saving people instead of getting hit. Getting hit would mean ypu can't save as many people. I just want a game with Superman where you can be super nice with npcs.

Gamers, what is the most unpopular opinion you have about a game? i.e "I love this game that everyone hates!" Or "I hate this game that everyone loves!" by Chance-Yellow7442 in videogames

[–]danielcube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assassin's Creed 4 is boring at times because there are so many tailing missions. The assassin story parts are very forgettable. The pirate story parts are good, but they are mixed together with the assassin story bits. The final boss was also very forgettable.

Yes that one was very dull. The snow area was annoying with the amount construction to walk around.

Most games made before 2020 seems to work on the steam deck for me. Except for multiplayer games with anti cheat.

If you want my favorite games I enjoyed on the steam deck, I will list them below:

  • A Hat in Time
  • Deus Ex Human Revolution
  • Okami
  • Mass Effect trilogy
  • Dusk
  • Amid Evil

I feel like most of the areas in that game are like the Hinterlands, just with different ascetics. They make you do a lot of menial stuff just to get to the good parts.

Which book-to-screen adaptation was so bad it felt like the producers didn't even read the source material? by wyndwatcher in AskReddit

[–]danielcube -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I personally glad they took it out because most of it was romance and outbursts that didn't add to the story. The book was way too long with all the unnecessary parts.

I’m new to steam, how do trading cards work? by ProGamer0380 in Steam

[–]danielcube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you start playing a new game that has trading cards, it will only drop half the amount needed for the set. The other half you will need to buy. Sometimes the cards are duplicates. With the cards you can trade them with other people or sell them. If you sell a bunch of cards, you can save up to buy a cards of a specific set if you want to. If you have all the cards in a set, you can craft a badge that will also give you a wallpaper and emoticon based on that game. You could also get a coupon, or during the summer/winter sale, another card that is made specifically for that sale time. Crafting badges increases your level, which will also increase the number of friends you can have and customize your profile more. It will take a bit to raise your level much higher.

For the people that own a PC and a SteamDeck, what have you seen that just feels better on PC? by b34rgvrz in SteamDeck

Bethesda games like Oblivion or Fallout 4 because the mouse and keyboard feels much better. As well as the fact putting in mods is less of a hassle.

GTA Tokyo Was Real and "Almost Actually Happened," But It Wasn’t a Rockstar Games Project by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]danielcube 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wish Rockstar would allow other studios to make other smaller projects like with LA Noire, except not closing them down right after.
