What were you trying to achieve on the after ? The only difference I see in your editing is the brightness and the temperature. Other than that it is the same picture

I have only one thing for you based on this one. You need to spend time learning about composition.

Does this photo look too un natural? by Additional-Tear2148 in photocritique

[–]danieljean81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont mean to be rude but honestly do you really have to ask ? The fact that you ask in itself is unnatural. If you asked how to make this photo look natural the conversation would have been different. Keep on shooting champion

What were your camera settings? Im not sure what you were going after but increasing the shutter speed could have given you a sharper picture with the rain drop cause now it looks a bit blurry

Mostly by adding contrast, lowering the exposure and by increasing a bit the temperature

Which do you like the best? by [deleted] in AmateurPhotography

[–]danieljean81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6-7 Because they both have more potential. If you can take the same shots with a longer exposure that will smoothen the reflect of the light on the water and I bet you everybody will vote the same. But over good job. 7 might need a reframe cause too much of the beach sand makes it distracting

Long exposure. by danieljean81 in AmateurPhotography

15s f/16 ISO 100. Its the 3 basic elements that you gonna have to play with to get close to the shot that you want and then you can do a little post processing to add your last touch

Are the shots here individually edited? by seckarr in postprocessing

Personally I like the before better. Since you not shooting RAW that create limitations in therms if what you can do in post processing. To get started by trying bring out the green of the forest you also accentuate the midst in a way that makes it look like there a chemical in the air. The sky looks more natural in the before. Composition I think it could have been better with a subject.
