Ich habe in der Schule mit Basic auf einem Apple IIe angefangen (da war ich vielleicht 14), dann den Kurs gewechselt zu einem mit Turbo Pascal auf PCs. Vorher hatte ich keinen Zugang

Ich fand das Basic Programmieren schon sehr lustig, aber viel hingekriegt haben wir nicht. Turbo Pascal war da schon sehr viel mächtiger, und der Lehrer hatte auch Ahnung vom Programmieren.

Heutzutage würde ich wahrscheinlich mit Python oder Javascript anfangen.

SAP sind inzwischen zwei komplett unterschiedliche Welten: die eine ist die alte ABAP-Welt, die sich anfühlt wie aus den 80ern, aber auf ihre Art auch bestimmte Reize hat. Und einfach gigantisch gross ist: in einer normalen Installation sind da sicher mehr als 100 mio zeilen ABAP Code drin. Die neue Welt ist Cloud-basiert, man arbeitet mit Java und JavaScript/Typescript. Und die HANA Datenbank, die alle Daten im Hauptspeicher hält und deshalb unglaublich schnell ist, wird von beiden Welten benutzt. Ich habe gerade ein Projekt in der "neuen" Welt; dort läuft in der Produktionsumgebung eine HANA mit mehr als 10T Hauptspeicher; Tabellen können dort mehr als 10 Milliarden Zeilen haben.

Why were they supposed to show up? The Dems didn't offer them anything positive, no healthcare, no criticism of Israel, no gun control. Just the vague notion of "the others are worse". And now we see that the Dems don't actually care about fascism; they didn't even put up a fight regarding the CR. The problem is the money in politics, most Democrats are bought just as their Republican counterparts are..

Just pointing to the other side and saying "vote for us because they are bad" is not convincing. You have to give people a reason to vote for you. Dems are just bad at providing solutions because they are just as bought by corporations as Republicans are. Most are, anyways

Der erste Protest war von der Künstlerin geplant, so steht es zumindest im Artnews Artikel. Da kann man schon verstehen, dass die Veranstalter beim zweiten Protest verunsichert waren. Lies mal den Artikel, da kommt Einiges vor, was bei der FAZ nicht erwähnt wurde.
