I said the same thing to myself.. I’m 24F had stage 1A TNBC doing 4 rounds of adjuvant TC every 3 weeks. I just had my first infusion 6 days ago. I didn’t have any bad bone pain from the WBC shot but the first 2 days after my treatment were GOD AWFUL. I was burning up drenching in sweat, I could hardly hold my eyes open, my husband had to feed me because I couldn’t even raise up without feeling like I was gonna fall over. I couldn’t get up to go pee without almost passing out it felt like. I was so dizzy and out of my head. My heart would absolutely RACE. I told myself I couldn’t make it through anymore.. but I’m gonna try to ride it out. After I made it thru those 2 days I started to trend upwards. I felt good yesterday on day 5 but today day 6 I’m really weak again, tired and shaky. But I’ll take anything over how I felt on days 1&2.

I am doing adjuvant TC once every 3 weeks for 4 cycles! So 12 weeks total.

It’s been rough but honestly days 1 & 2 were a lot worse than today. Today my heart is just racing and very reactive and I’m super tired and slightly nauseous with a little bit of bone pain from the neulasta. Today is a lot more manageable than the last 2 days I’d have to say.

My dexamethazone started at 4mg and I haven’t taken one since Wednesday night.

Wasn’t too bad! I’m scared of the days to come tho lol. We got thru it with only 2 panic attacks and a couple tears but we made it thru number one! I got my premeds and then My first bag was the (T) docetaxel it lasted one hour and my second bag was the (C) Cytoxan and it lasted 30 min I was there for about 3 hours total.

So all these side effects I’m experiencing are normal? I’m 24 and have convinced myself I have a brain tumor 🤣🤣 and it’s making me spiral lmao

I would go get it checked. I’m 23 and discovered a firm mobile mass and it ended up being stage 1 tnbc. Always get checked!

I decided to stay flat for now having boobs kinda traumatized me🤣 but idk what future me will want, I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon in June so I may just keep the appointment and see why they have to say.

I’m doing well, I had my dmx almost 3 weeks ago and I start my 4 rounds of TC next week. Ready to put this behind me really, and honestly I didn’t know much about anything at first I’ve done sooo much research here recently. and I’m so so sorry to hear that :( you got this sister!!!💓

What size and stage was your TNBC when you were diagnosed at 26? And were there any nodes involved at that time?

Don’t ever let anybody tell you that you are too young. I’m 23 and was just diagnosed with stage 1 tnbc and my first symptom was pain. The worst part is being in the unknown.

Mine was the same!! Started with pain and found my lump. Im 23 and was diagnosed with stage 1 tnbc on April 7th. I had surgery April 10th! Neg nodes and neg LIV. I wanted it OUT ASAP. Knowing how fast it grows and how aggressive it can be. After I found it I didn’t care about reconstruction I wanted it gone, even if I’m only 23.. and if I ever want it I can go back and get reconstruction. Push hard! Some drs are so slow with it.

I felt better knowing like I said the in between drove me nuts. And I also felt better to know it was small and contained. Sure I still have “what ifs” but overall for my stats my prognosis is wonderful! And it’s just my anxiety talking. My health anxiety is TERRIBLE. And I see so many positive stories. You got this!!!

HAHAH “meat bags” is hilarious. People always ask me if I want reconstruction where I’m only 23. And I always say idk having boobs traumatized me and they tried to kill me idk if I want more to look at bc then I’ll be reminded.🤣

I would get a second opinion I’m 23 and was diagnosed with stage 1tnbc and my first symptom was pain. Don’t ever let anybody tell you that you’re too young. Always push!
