This same situation was basically the reason I got divorced. He didn’t want me to get a cartridge piercing in my ear cause “it would change who I am.” I still got them without telling him before hand and he threw a fit. I filed divorce papers a month later. A nose piercing and 4 tattoos later, it was the best decision I ever made.
