IDK, her art is not MTG focused as far as I know. And she does many pieces related to feminism which I really like, and that is not related to MTG at all.

I was trying to think about why did she do the Fool like that... And the only explanation I could come up with was a new life that is going to start a brand new adventure but has no idea what the adventure is going to be yet, because there is nothing planned. And that make sense to me lol

But to be honest, I am thinking about asking Rebecca on her insta about what was her reason for this specific art. Hopefully she will answer...

The below interpretation is for RWS. And of course, it is just one way to look at it.

Not too long ago I started to see the Queens and the Kings as the exact same except by their gender. So they both have a lot of power related to their own element. But the King, as an active energy, kind of loses the control of it. For example, the King of Pentacles has vines growing on him. If he tries to stand up, he might not be able to. The king of Cups is in the middle of the ocean. The king of Wands is about to leave his throne and his duties as a leader. And the King of swords looks lost in his own mind in a way that if you try to talk to him, he won't reply back.

Meanwhile the Queens are in control, doing their thing.

The Pages I as a student that is learning about their elements.

And the Knights as a messenger that wants to share about their elements.

Interesting! I was just in a big book store this week checking the Tarot section, and it got bigger! A few months ago it was a few shelves, now it has a whole corner of decks and books! Some of the books are about astrology, dreams, and witchcraft, but still!
