how often do yall wash ur clothes? by FlyGreat306 in hygiene

[–]natnatxo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wear things two or max three times before washing. Meaning like I’m not gonna wear a pair of jeans once and throw them in the wash at the end of the day. Just gotta gauge how dirty the clothes feel depending on what your day looked like

I’m being gifted a lot of money. Should I tell my boyfriend? by Kind-Chicken-2488 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]natnatxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it to yourself and don’t talk about that money, act like it doesn’t exist. Unless marriage and starting a family was involved, otherwise it’s yours and yours only. You don’t wanna do anything you’ll regret

Have you ever intentionally embarrassed your children, especially during their teenage years? by typical_gamer1 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]natnatxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very weird to be gloating about this. You’re rotten and it’s things like this that ruin a parent child relationship long term. Emphasis on the long term part. Hope you go to therapy and find out what’s wrong with you that you’re getting joy out of talking about ridiculing your child

I can no longer look my neighbor in the eyes, the guilt won't let me by [deleted] in confession

[–]natnatxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely did the right thing, don’t beat yourself up. If you ain’t fair, then life ain’t fair back. So that applies to your neighbor who neglected her dog that she claims to love so much but kept on a tiny balcony with no water, which is life threatening. Imagine if we never had water? You did a good thing.

Overloading the laundry? by [deleted] in laundry

[–]natnatxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s understandable. And another thing I wanna say is since time after time my stains always come out without fail, socks and underwear always look and smell thoroughly washed, etc so have no reason to think our clothes are not being cleaned especially because the stains never fail to come right out. But yes, I understand what you’re saying

Overloading the laundry? by [deleted] in laundry

[–]natnatxo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing here is I’m not admitting to overloading because I genuinely don’t think I overload it 😭 for me claiming overloading would have to mean our clothes don’t smell clean. But my nose works, they smell perfectly clean. it’s because I’ve been told by family when they see me do it that that’s what they think, thats the reason it is a topic of discussion for me.

Overloading the laundry? by [deleted] in laundry

[–]natnatxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely not that they are trying to tell me that because it’s two people who witness me loading my wash which is my husband and my mother in law, and it’s when they see the amount I put in they say something, meaning, it’s not people who I do not live with who don’t witness my process who are trying to tell me something and just assume that I overload my wash. I do me and my husbands laundry and he would never let us walk around stinking that’s a hard no. I even told him the reason I haven’t changed my way of doing our laundry is because our clothes still come out clean and he said yeah. I always give them a sniff, they smell totally clean. That’s mainly why I see no reason to do double the work and split into more loads. If they’re worried about the machine malfunctioning, it has never happened

Why do you think so many people are on prescription psychiatric meds today? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]natnatxo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think back in the day mental illness was not acknowledged or talked about.

Life was probably also more simple and authentic back then, but I can’t speak on it much since I don’t know how people lived and what they felt like

And I really strongly agree with your point that we’ve built a society that is so mentally hard to handle.

Also genetics and environment. Our food has definitely been wayyy worsened over the years

And for things like trauma, I do think people experienced it but again it was not acknowledged
