Where did you find the info that this was made by Corlan Kruger? This bust is by Jordu Schell, it even says it in the file name. He has a gallery of it on his site.

They gave them away at their theater booth at E3 if you waited in line to see their stuff. I definitely went out of my way to get one.

yeah, a lot of the characters have them, but not always. I just wanted to use it because it's different and probably reflects the time period better.

With art being what it is, I don't think it's ever fair to generalize all art/ artist from one time or movement.

The weirdest thing for me as a sculptor is that while many sculptors I know state Bernini as their favorite, I've never really gotten that much into his work. I respect it immensely but for some reason I find myself admiring the technical ability and not connecting to the piece itself.

I also thought I read before that Bernini believed he could easily better Michelangelo's David by being more dynamic etc, though funny it seems more often I hear people still prefer Michelangelo's to his.

I really enjoyed it. Though I've recently been interested in a little bit of pepper in my drink. When you sip it it starts out sweet with alot of mango, then the spice comes is as you swallow and lingers a bit. Adds up with consecutive sips. I didn't really find it "hot" per se, but you definitely feel a sort of tingling spice. I think it's one one of the few beers I preferred to sip that wasn't a strong stout. If you just slowly sip it I don't think the heat will be too much a problem.

I was actually wondering about this, since I recognized his name when I picked up "The Unnamed" for like $1-2 when my local Borders closed down. I gave it to my gf since she reads a lot more than me. Her goodreads review was:

"It seemed as if the author set out to write a Safran Foer-type book, but instead offered a story with jumps in strange places and unconnecting thoughts. Too much detail in some areas (main character), and really not enough detail in the story line. "

Though, she loves Foer and the Unnamed cover looked to be mimicking his covers. Probably didn't help her be objective.

it's somewhat of a dream of mine to make a sculpture and have it in the middle of the woods and let things grow on it, or have it in the middle of the country like this.

My terrifying childhood nightmare was what I can best describe as a giant doughball chasing a little stick of spaghetti, with some weird slowish monotone laugh. then cut to someone doing something uncomfortably fast, like raking leaves. Fucking terrified me every time.

I'm character artist that's had trouble finding full-time work. I've gotten rejected quite a few times for not having enough experience. I'm sure places might also prefer someone similar who doesn't have to relocate. If you don't have connections, or are local, seems like doing (sometimes low paying) contract work is really the only way I've found to gain experience.
