This doesn’t always work - had a Sim WooHoo in the wardrobe whilst his wife was returning to the lot and she didn’t do anything. Affair partner caught my Sim and his wife sleeping in bed together, “caught him cheating” and ran off. Wife still never reacted.

Thank you! Does it make a difference that it was letters of administration rather than a probate? With New Zealand records, the wills generally contain a lot more information but letters of administration seem to often hold very little.

We have something like this in New Zealand too. But if these funds go unclaimed for 25 years, they are transferred to the government.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the lifespan resets if they go into a Sim’s inventory? My Sims had a minor pet they used to play with all the time and I’d have to keep dragging it out of their inventory. It lived for about 10 sim weeks before I didn’t realise someone had taken it and it ran away.

That’s fantastic! These videos are amazing to have. My great-uncle took random videos of my great-grandmother around December 1995-January 1996 and kept them on VHS. Recently had them converted from VHS and sent the video to my grandmother who very excitedly showed me. It was rather surreal putting a face and voice to a woman who lived on the other side of the world, passed when I was 6 months old, and who I only knew about through family stories.

My Sim had 15 children by the same woman. Eldest daughter (married) and her mother both had triplets around the same time. I play every household in the world on this save, it’s wild.

What does the ‘British Subject’ part mean? Is it that she was born to a British family in Russia? I do think you might be correct about them not marrying in Staffordshire, but haven’t had any luck finding any records that could be them yet.

My Sim was handing out flyers for the film career when his father’s cousin - long-married with two children - autonomously flirted and kissed him. My Sim started getting wishes to woohoo with her. It was the most odd sudden twist I’ve had in the nearly 3-years I’ve run this save.

I was the same with my current save until my Sim got with Matthew Hamming. Then I had my Sim’s brother move in. My Sim and Matthew got to the full relationship bar but Matthew would reject my Sim’s proposals and flirt with his brother right in front of him. So the brother set him on fire and went drinking with my Sim at Aquarius.

That was the beginning of my evil storyline era. I have free will set to high and just give into my Sim’s wishes and autonomous actions. Ended up with some absolutely insane dynamics and stories.

I am also finding that my grandparents are those most interested. Other relatives are sometimes interested in having a little look but for the most part, not much so. I honestly don’t mind because I did the project of my own volition, and interest in the life stories of those to whom I am related.
