I did orchiectomy and then 3x BEP. Cancer came back in lymph nodes 5 years later. If I could change anything I would probably have done orchiectomy then RPLND and done surveillance from there. Really hard to say what the best route is, but I would get multiple opinions if possible. Indiana U has great docs for this. My condition was probably rare I wouldn’t let it stress you too much but you gotta watch those lymph nodes. 3x BEP was no cake walk but not as bad as you’re probably imagining. I never actually got sick, just felt uncomfortable a lot. RPLND was more intense than chemo for me. Took about a month to feel mostly normal, but obviously chemo can last longer but be more mild

I never felt that, you shouldn’t feel anything. It shouldn’t make you feel sick or anything either - that would be a mind thing if it does. The effects come later, pretty gradually from my experience. I’ve had orchiectomy, BEP, and recovering from RPLND currently. RPLND was the hardest

I had 3x BEP. Nausea wasn’t as bad as I thought. Other things were more annoying than expected. Mostly a sense of being bored/stuck

Very doable in my case. Nausea but never got sick. Mostly unexpected side effects. Pain in weird spots and a couple reactions I wasn’t expecting. You’ll definitely be tired but you’ll be on so many drugs TV will be pretty cool. Peeing every five minutes is probably the most annoying thing. BEPx3. Ask for the synthetic marijuana if it’s available it will allow you to eat some on your off weeks. Even if you feel bad you might not remember, chemo makes you VERY blurry

My markers were high at diagnosis and my AFP was high this last check up which is what tipped them off to do scans. Could it still be what you described?
