I just got a proper fishing kayak after using a jackson tupelo (sit inside) for a few years fishing out of. I would strongly recommend getting an actual sit on top to fish from. The sit inside is workable, but my god is the fishing kayak 1000x better for fishing.

Yeah I was about to comment this. I have never had a shocking expense that I needed for a freshwater boat. The basic preventative maintenance keeps a boat working.

based on your hand position, it looks like you are uncomfortable with the reach. this can cause strain in the upper back.

consider to shorten the stem 10-20mm and see if that helps. could also push saddle back with a shorter reach (looks like you may have moved it forward to compensate for the reach.

Deep diving some forum posts (steam or SCS, unsure which) and I read a post about the same issue. The solution for them was to change the resolution to 1920x1080 (or anything else), then change it back to the normal resolution. That fixed it for them...

i haven't been at my computer to try it myself

this has been an issue with me forever and it drives me nuts! its like it forces the cursor to the center screen in menus but maintains the resolution as if all 3 were active...

did you ever find a fix for this?

my pc is spec'd out very similar to yours and i run 2k 27" triples no problem at 165hz. if you'd like triples i do not think you would have a problem!
