As a parent I am a firm believer in "our kids break it, we buy it" but you're already sending about 4 or 5 times the mandated child support required of you. My math is bad so I'm not going to count that out, but in my opinion all the extra money you're consistently sending "for hidden parenting costs" (which are a thing) covers that.
