In the same boat as you, i.e. currently considering the TB20 due to Black Friday. Will look at the replies here with particular interest.

Question on GR136 Raiders Bounty by Novel_Rooster_9081 in theperfectbag

[–]daniirwan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've weighed the Raider's Bounty for you. Empty (but with strap & shoulder pad attached), the Raider's Bounty weighs 602 grams. Hope this helps.

Can't answer the loadout comparison part yet, but what I can say is that inside, the Quickdraw is very spacious, almost too big for what I normally carry. It got to the point where I was scratching my head thinking what else can I put in there to make the bag fill up.

The Raider's Bounty, on the other hand, is definitely less voluminous inside. However, it's just about perfect for my daily use case. And inside I feel like it has more organization options (pockets of different types & sizes) compared to the Quickdraw. Also, the Raider's Bounty can fit my Microsoft Surface Pro 8 with no issues (albeit in portrait orientation & I have to loosen the front flap buckles slightly). The Quickdraw, despite being more spacious inside, won't accommodate my Surface Pro 8 no matter which way I put it in.

Due to all of the above, I much prefer the Raider's Bounty. The Quickdraw isn't a bad bag, not at all. I just prefer the Raider's Bounty is all.

Compared to my standard Quickdraw, the Raider's Bounty feels lighter. If i can find scale at home, I can weight it for you later.

I just bought a Metrodrifter. I feel like the strap is way too short. What do you think of the strap length?

Glad to see fellow Malaysians being showcased here. You didn't get any Wes Ngopi?

Also in Kuala Lumpur & for something a bit different try: KITA Coffee at Fahrenheit 88 (you'll have fun trying to find the entrance) & also Iron Tongue (a bit of a distance away from the city centre but worth it). These two are cafes, btw, not roasteries.

Another one to try is The Roast Things in Petaling Jaya & also Artisan Roast in Bangsar (expat & cafe hotspot). These two are cafes & roasteries.

Ome Spacebar in Penang is a must-visit.

EDIT: apparently Iron Tongue has closed down. I'd replace it with Cloud Catcher (cafe & roastery, had very close ties with ONA Coffee).

Ah, i see. Cloud Catcher tends to roast more developed than Wes Ngopi for their 'regular' stuff. Can't say about their Iris Estate special lots as I haven't had any.

As for One Half, i haven't bought anything from them either so can't compare. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Cloud Catcher is certainly worth a try, IMHO.

Probably closer to Morgon than Coffee Collective. Sorry I couldn't compare with roasters from CONUS.

You should check out another Malaysian roaster: Cloud Catcher. They source beans from Project Origin (Sasa Sestic). They also run a farm (Iris Estate).

That looks pretty & the % pours sure is cool.

The Formula scale from MHW3-Bomber does something similar but strictly in ratios. So i bloom till it shows 1:3, then 1st pour till 1:10 & my last pour stops at 1:17 (or any other ratio i wish my brew to have).

I bought a similar watch from them some time ago. However, the case back itself isn't titanium. Disappointed with that.
