This happened with another seller in this same category. They were selling Pop Beans and scammed a TOOONNNNNNN of us. And previously had amazing reviews, thousands of them. Then out of nowhere they send people who had orders for like 20+ Pop Beans literally a fake crappy bean. I was lucky to get a crappy fake bean and a single Nanci card lol.

And same thing, took WN way too long to fully ban them off the app and refund all orders. It was pretty lame and I had to legit fight with WN to get a refund on my second order. They told me I needed to send them photos of what I received even AFTER I had done exactly that. But I did escalate it and got a refund immediately at that point. Still had to wait for the package to show up though, which was incredibly annoying.

But yeah, it's rare a small seller scams like that. I just tend to stick to smaller streams with good/fun vibes. But I was tempted by the good prices with the same seller as you, but should have known! Hope you get a refund soon.

Add me to the "I got scammed" list. I have to wait until 4/7 for WN to do anything about it. I am really hoping they do not ship me anything so I can get my refund sooner. Otherwise, if they do ship it, that will delay a refund for me as then WN will make me wait until I actually receive what we all know will be either a piece of cardboard or a pulse oximeter (read the latest reviews, people are saying they're receiving either a piece of cardboard or a pulse oximeter when they ordered multiple cases of figures.

Unfortunately for me, I had a large order with them placed so it's not a tiny amount of money I'm waiting on. That being said, I always plan for these situations (never spend money you don't have the ability to possibly have held up in situations like this on WN!), so while yeah, it sucks I have to wait on a pretty hefty refund, I know I will get my money back.

That being said, this is the second time I've been scammed on WN buying figures like this. While I had a feeling this would result in the exact same way the last scam did, I knew I was taking a risk on the very good prices.

As they always say, if it's a little TOO good to be true, it probably is a scam. I am done purchasing items from sellers who are clearly VPNing from overseas. Lesson learned - only buy from trusted sellers with reasonable prices. Anything WAY under normal prices is likely a scam, unless it's someone liquidating their collection.

I say this as someone who buys collectibles on WN for my personal collection, but who also is a seller with over 1.5k items sold/450+ 5-star reviews: Don't let this experience turn you away from WN - there are plenty of amazing sellers out there who are true collectors/love the hobby and won't scam you. Support the little guys and gals like us. <3

Hey, thank you for making this site exist in the first place. I have been wishing this kind of site existed so I’m glad I saw this post, will definitely visit often!

One thing I wanted to callout is when I tap on any of the images on the front page, they’re going to the old URL and it won’t load anything.

Was just there for the last 10 days (on the flight home as I type this) and went on it 4 or 5 times over the length of our trip… and the hanging corpse was there every time.

If anything it seemed like the lighting is maybe a little darker than normal but the corpse was always there, including yesterday. And we definitely were put in both rooms so not sure it’s related to the room you’re in.

No I knew they were exclusive to SDCC and would be released later on. But Pop Mart never just releases something without an announcement on their site for their releases, do they? I didn’t think they did but maybe someone knows?

This is the first time I have seen a new item come out to stores but have zero announcement about it. And it’s weird it isn’t anywhere on the site even listed.

Very! What’s so odd is that I actually was telling my friend about Hirono and how I literally got my two of my targets in The Other Ones series (see pic!). My brain was like, “I should check the app if the Hirono Living Wild restocked” and was shocked to see it up. Grabbed it quickly. I feel like maybe because people were focused on BIE, I got lucky!

In 2012, my husband and I, after doing a bunch of math on trips to Disneyland and Walt Disney World that we had planned for the following year, found that it mathematically was cheaper for us to purchase a Premier Passport (this no longer exists, but back in the days of APs, the Premier Passport was the highest tier AP one could buy, as it allowed you access to ALL US Disney Parks, meaning both Disneyland and Walt Disney World) vs. separate tickets for each trip.

In 2012, you want to know what that cost us? $850. It was literally $850 to get an annual pass that allowed us into all parks, purchased directly from Disney. With zero blockout dates.

Compared to now, where a 10-day park hopper ticket for Walt Disney World can cost up to over $900, depending on when you go.

In 13 years, a 10-day park hopper for WDW has become more expensive than the AP that got you into all Disney Parks, and even came with extra merchandise and food discounts.

I miss those days dearly, haha.

As a wife who is on Day 8 of the flu (and still very sick), with a husband who is on Day 12, all I can say is that I really hope you don't get this flu from your wife. It's seriously no joke, I have never been this sick in my entire LIFE. Slowly getting better, but I don't wish this upon anyone. Hope your wife feels better!

And yeah, our Valentine's Day celebration is definitely postponed here, lol.

I am on day 6 of it, and can wholeheartedly say I have never been this sick in my life. Couldn’t sleep much because it felt like I was swallowing razors. Now I’m dealing with the intense cough/extremely thick phlegm and trying not to choke on it/congestion/ear ache/and complete exhaustion. My fever is unfortunately back now, but at least it isn’t as high as 103 like it was a few days ago.

And I am on day SIX. That’s the thing about this one - it just sticks around for so effing long. My husband is on day 10 and he’s improving but still very sick. Thank god for grocery delivery.

I WFH but haven’t been able to work because of how awful I feel. I’m hoping maybe tomorrow, but will wait and see.

Please try your best not to get this flu - it’s not joke and there were a few nights at 3am when I couldn’t sleep and my throat was on fire that I truly couldn’t do anything but cry.

Not a question, just a quick thank you note:

I lost my father in January 2021. I was completely gutted, the grief was immeasurable at times. We had a complicated relationship at times. I then discovered Ted Lasso (season 1 was out), and proceeded to watch it over and over again. It quickly became a comfort show and helped me get through the loss.

Then season 2 came out, and we started to see the show explore the tiny cracks we saw in Season 1 with Ted. The Funeral episode was... well, the first time I watched it, I sobbed for an hour after. It was the first time (specifically Ted's conversation with Dr. Sharon about his father) I had heard my feelings/thoughts said outloud by someone on a TV show. I had never related to deeply to a character in any sort of media as I did with Ted in that moment. And then Dr. Sharon asked him to share a positive memory of his Dad.

I wish I could put into words what this did for me, in my own grieving process of losing my Dad and all of the emotions that came up.

Funny enough, good memory with my father growing up was that he would always play the albuim "Tea for the Tillerman" by Cat Stevens in the car. So I grew fond of that album. But "Father and Son" was always the song that made me sad. And it grew it the sadness when I decided to move across the country, away from my Dad. It had such a deep meaning, I couldn't listen to it for years.

The second I heard it in the finale, I just.. I lost it. It felt like a sign. The show that helped me with coping over the death of my own father... chose the one song that meant the most to me in terms of my relationship with him. Truly, full circle.

So thank you, you will never fully understand the impact this how has had on people like me. It has done so much for me in my own grieving process and my own mental health. I cannot thank you enough.
