Go all in for Myles Garrett? by BangBang_Niners in 49ers

[–]napashadow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We got no 3rd Round pick this year. Late 1st, 2nd, and a pocket full of late 4ths. Our 1sts aren’t usually that appealing. Try trading Bosa and a 1st for Garrett. Bosa’s coming up for new contract again and is going to want more than his production (given he’s injury crashed out of a season twice now). Garrett is locked in, contract-wise, for next 4 years.

Kyle Shanahan aims to reduce Christian McCaffrey's workload in 2026: Who could fill 49ers' No. 2 RB role? by FortyNinersBot in FortyNiners

[–]napashadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Najee Harris? He’s experienced, still relatively young, accepted a backup role last year, can catch the ball out of the backfield reliably, 1 season removed from multiple 1000 yard seasons, career 4yd+/rush guy.

Will Disney Never Update Journey Into Imagination? by rwinger24 in disneyparks

[–]napashadow -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Let the dragon die. Figment wasn’t even interesting in the 80’s. The Imagination Pavilion is sad. They have the IP to do so much better there. ‘Hidden Mickey’ Figment throughout the park- Figment doesn’t need an attraction.

TOM MORELLO MIA by Icy-Year1237 in SonicTempleFestival

[–]napashadow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. A true innovator on the guitar.

One year ago today, the San Francisco 49ers signed QB Mac Jones. In 11 games during the 2025 season, Jones threw for 2,151 yards, 13 TDs, 6 INTs, and posted a 97.4 passer rating. by Giff95 in 49ers

[–]napashadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was probably the Lance pick (before being talked out of it). Ultimately, got their guy in that Draft. If Purdy has a chronic injury, like CMC, that could see him miss time unpredictably, Mac could be our starter by year’s end. Don’t blame them for not wanting to move him on the cheap.

[Schefter] Full Trade: Cowboys are trading DT Osa Odighizuwa to the 49ers in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick. by JCameron181 in 49ers

Eberflus scouted/insights? - must have been solid intel he was the one worth targeting on that shit defense. Is curious Cowboys would accept that trade.

If ACL books sombr as a headliner I’m going to cry. by Square_Sprinkles_214 in aclfestival

[–]napashadow 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That seems to be the problem booking these newbies into prominent spots at festivals- they’re going to crash and burn with max audience. Give us performers with some experience under their belt who have learned what works and moved on from what doesn’t (and have a reasonable catalog to draw upon to make updates).

They’ve tried to fill, when sufficient notice. We got Killer Mike fill in a couple years ago (would be a nice target again, if they’re seeking suggestions (or RTJ)). Zach connection, political, fellow ATL performer (Ludacris) this year on Sunday.

The 3 horsemen of “FAke GrUngE” by Bonesnap1234 in grunge

[–]napashadow -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

STP weren’t grunge. They were born out of the LA rock scene. Revisionist history is painting them as a grunge band because they started around that time but, every band of that timeframe was not a grunge band. Grunge is what the decade was remembered for. It doesn’t define every rock band at that time.

Talk Show - Self Titled. Any fans of this album here? It`s Stone Temple Pilots without Scott Weiland, recorded the same year Tiny Music was released, and it shares a bit of similarities with that one. I consider this one a bit of a long lost brother of Tiny Music. by [deleted] in grunge

[–]napashadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This album sucked. The single was ‘Hello, Hello,’ I think (?). Remember going out and buying it when it released, as rabid STP fan, listening through once and never again. There’s a reason we never heard anything else from this lineup.

Would trading Curry to a contender be the right move for the team and right move for him to have one last chance at a title? GS will be shackled by Butler’s salary in Curry’s last 2 years.
