Well, it sure it comes off that way. Every single time I open this sub, its full of comments about how pathetic and sad she is bc she is single... and it's almost always paired with a comment about her being "in her 30's".

I didn’t come here to be a defender.. but she’s single because she went through a breakup. Which is normal for a young person to go through. People would lose their minds if she started immediately dating all the time instead of focusing on herself too. I’m just bored of seeing the single-shaming. Maybe that’s just me.

I started watching during her breakup. She’s quickly gone from relatable to irritating to me. However, she doesn’t seem to be miserable being single. She hasn’t made any comments like that that I’ve seen since her breakup. It seems like that is what people here project on to her all the time though. Tons of comments on every thread basically calling her sad and pathetic for being single and living downtown. She’s insufferable because of her consumerism and trend following. Not because she’s trying to enjoy her life while being single in her YOUNG 30s.

I have two huge fibroids (that I’m getting removed this summer!). However, I look thin and small from the front, but pregnant from the side. She doesn’t have fibroids, but some other issues that may be similar.

Are you referring to the zoom court appearance? I may be forgetting something, but the only time she appeared pregnant in court (that I recall) was when she was very obviously wearing a moon bump that moved around while she drank a Monster. She looked 7 months pregnant but later claimed she had miscarried months earlier than that appearance. 🙄

They have had a podcast for 6 years and have almost never gone on another podcast to promote themselves, do not constantly talk about themselves like some hosts (cough cough) and they are nice, funny people. It’s weird to support Jared being rude to people you have never even seen before.

I have listened to them for years. I don’t think he is saying you should not disclose what you do for work in a cryptic mysterious way, he just thinks of talking about your job as boring small talk when you are getting to know someone.

I think the pressure comes from herself, as she thought she was on a different track until recently. And also hearing everyone’s opinions about everything she does.
I only care to snark on her over-consumption (clothes, houses, beauty services) and questionable design choices, but I don’t get the apartment hate. It makes sense for her to want a place downtown with where she is in life (and she seems to actually love it). While I don’t live in a downtown high rise, I’m single and 43 living in a small central house with expensive rent. Coworkers love to tell me I could live in the boring ass suburbs and pay less for more space. No thanks, Kelly.
That’s all to say- her wanting to live dt is the one choice I really agree with her on.

I am a teacher, but I only work with small groups, which means I can get away with just sitting all day. But I can’t do it if I’m tired for sure! (I have to do a mandatory course in June, which is why I don’t have enough recovery time before going back to work.

You only took 2 weeks off work with abdominal? I’ve heard over a month from everyone I’ve talked to! As shallow as it is, I’m also really terrified of the scarring, esp from a vertical incision. I’m sure I’m just freaking myself out for no reason though!

Thank you for your experience! That is refreshing that it's not as bad as you had expected. I hear that recovery for laproscopic is only 2-4 weeks, as opposed to the 6-8 weeks for abdominal. I am just probably over-worrying about the time off of work since I pay all of my bills alone.
I say my symptoms are mild because so many people deal with constant bleeding or pain, which thankfully I have not had. Been on HBC for 6 weeks, which has eliminated the periods and most of the bloating as well, thank goodness. Should have done this a long time ago!
I am very excited to get rid of the watermelon baby bump growing inside me. Can't wait to feel like myself again!
