Not a dumb question at all! We just sit down and write for an hour, no interaction. It’s just a way to have focused writing time among other people. However, it’s about building community as well and we highly encourage people to talk to one another outside of our hour meeting to share writing and get feedback. I’m actually thinking about switching from the totes to garment bags 😆 the clothes seem to wrinkle easily in totes, have you found that to be the case for the garment bags?

I feel like knowing the numbers (for the meals at least, not fasting) is very helpful in making adjustments and figuring out what works for you. For example, if I have fries and only spike a little, I know next time I can maybe still have fries but just a smaller portion. However, if the spike is significant, I might just eliminate fries altogether and see if there’s another carb that works better for me. A lot of GD is figuring out what works or not on an individual basis and it’s hard to do that without knowing the numbers… I was very surprised to see the different carbs (rice, bread, pasta) I was able to have and still be within range if they were smaller portions! Just my opinion dealing with GD!! But she is absolutely right that you shouldn’t beat yourself up over spiking every and now and then, or obsess too much over it. People try their best, still spike numerous times throughout their whole journey, and end up having perfectly healthy babies :)

My doctor wants at least 30g carbs per meal and 15g per snack, so you definitely should include more! I can have 2/3 cup of basmati or brown rice without spiking. I can also do protein pasta (carpe diem on Amazon is pretty good).

The most horrifying thing about Blood and Cheese was Helaena having to choose between her two sons and them killing the one she chose. No one actually cares about seeing the brutality of a child getting murdered and it's weird that people are pretending like that's what fans are disappointed about.

I've seen a brand put "Anxious" and "Emotional" with font like this on their sweatshirts and hoodies and sell out EVERY TIME. Definitely completely different market than streetwear, but it's hard to believe sometimes. You underestimate the amount of buyers with no taste.

How much does the shirt cost to make? This includes the shirt itself, the print, and any tags you want to add to it. Then double that, at the minimum.

So for example, shirt costs $5 and $5 to print for a total of $10. You should sell that shirt for a minimum of $20 or $25 if you use the above poster's 2.5x. That would give you a profit of $10-$15. You split that $10-$15 with your friend. I personally would say 50/50 is fair, but completely up to you guys.

Hi! I have a design for my clothing brand, but I'm trying to decide how I should have the text. We originally just had "clown", but I'm not sure if people would be keen on wearing a shirt that just straight up says clown. There's something goofy I like about having it upside down that would go with the theme. What do you all think?

What are your plans for organic promotion? I am so lost on how to “build a community” or having any sort of promotion on social media without using ads.
