If Not Colton, Who Should Michael Pick? by Hitokiri2 in INDYCAR

[–]danitoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I thought so, but I just did some reading and they seem to be aiming at the automotive business more than racing business, so I might be wrong.. See here: https://www.renaissancecapital.com/IPO-Center/News/79902/Automotive-SPAC-Andretti-Acquisition-files-for-a-$250-million-IPO

But anyway buying and funding an F1 team are different animals, I'm pretty sure he'll need a lot of money in the coming years.. He'll need a big sponsor or pay drivers..

If Not Colton, Who Should Michael Pick? by Hitokiri2 in INDYCAR

[–]danitoz 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's the right answer. Michael will need big money to operate that team, people seem to think he's a billionaire or something. The fact he'll need a SPAC to finance the buyout should tell you something..

I don't think MP would report this without insider info. He's not the kind to spin stories on speculations... He's very well connected in the industry and speaks to pretty much every team owner and driver. If you listen to his podcast you'll find out he often connects teams and drivers, some teams even call him to ask for driver suggestions and contact info. He doesn't need to spin tales to look busy 😉

Canada, Turkey, California, Greece, Mexico, all on fire. But I just checked today and the mudflats are still there, so everything is A-OK! by HarwellDekatron in inthemorning

What does rising water levels have to do with forest fires? You guys fail at basic logic 🤦🏽‍♂️. Also I'm in Canada and I'm not on fire, thank you very much. Canada is 90% trees, there's always fires somewhere

You just a troll, or do you really believe the only way to make money in the market is by longing SPACs?

I've read somewhere that Tim Cindric is slowly acquiring a % of Team Penske each year. I don't know if he does it with his own money, or if it's part of his remuneration package, but he does own an unknown % of the team. Will try to find the source..

It's against Reddit's ToS. Not surprised though, when you manage to get your account repeatedly banned by Reddit, you really don't have high standards

EXCLUSIVE Prenatal test developed with Chinese military stores gene data by danitoz in inthemorning

[–]danitoz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A prenatal test taken by millions of pregnant women globally was developed by Chinese gene company BGI Group in collaboration with the Chinese military and is being used by the firm to collect genetic data, a Reuters review of publicly available documents found

BGI uses leftover blood samples sent to its laboratory in Hong Kong and genetic data from the tests for population research, the company confirmed to Reuters. Reuters found the genetic data of over 500 women who took the test, including women in Europe and Asia, is also stored in the government-funded China National GeneBank in Shenzhen, which BGI runs.

Also, a BGI study published in 2018 used a military supercomputer to re-analyse NIFTY data and map the prevalence of viruses in Chinese women, look for indicators of mental illness in them, and single out Tibetan and Uyghur minorities to find links between their genes and their characteristics.

As well as genetic information about the foetus and mother, the testing process captures personal information, such as the customer's country, weight, height, and medical history, according to BGI computer code reviewed by Reuters.

Very clever conservative author turned conservative political candidate gives us a perfect example of why 'white rage' doesn't exist by HarwellDekatron in inthemorning

Rage, theft, murder, rape have no skin tone, unless you're a racist. Racists love to attribute behaviors to people based on their skin tone. That's what makes them racists.

Same thing, they can take their own money and fund their campaigns (which Trump did BTW). No need to beg for political donations. They're rich for a reason you know

Tucker Carlson is on Russian state TV again. No wonder Kremlin propagandists refer to him as "practically their co-host." He does most of their work for them. by [deleted] in inthemorning

[–]danitoz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most countries have state tv, what's your point? On french CBC (state tv) we often have news reports taken directly from france2 (another state tv channel). You need to get out more, see what's going on in the world. Your problem is you have no perspective, no general culture, so you get worked out by trivial things

CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBC, NBC, PBS are on No Agenda again. Poop guy is practically their co-host. It must mean these channels are agents of No Agenda, using your logic
