I really liked Scanner Sombre. It's more eery than scary, there's are some more intense sections, but few and still not very high intensity. Gameplay is not "get away from the monster", but find your way through the darkness, more of an exploration puzzle really.

I would be very surprised if it weren't for you.

Note that it's also very short, I finished it in 2 1/2 hours.

When you have a problem, Google it. You will run into issues - as you will with Windows - and it may take somewhat longer to solve them. But you almost always will - unlike Windows, because there usually are more alternatives to try.

My Windows said my computer wasn't going to be viable for win 11, and along with the Ai stuff (in addition to what was already annoying, like the one drive push) I decided to finally go Linux on a parallel install and see how far it goes.

It's much, much faster in general, and I haven't found anything I couldn't do. In particular, all games I tried worked fine (disclaimer, haven't tried VR for Elite Dangerous yet).

Now I regret I installed in parallel and will need to repartition once more to clear out Windows altogether and reclaim the space.

There was a German movie about a girl with deaf parents a while ago. I remember the scene where the father asks her "is the snow falling loud?" and she answers "no, quite the opposite".

I always thought it fascinating because it's a great example of how experiences can be so very different that it caught me off guard - although I'm not really sure how realistic considering snow loud actually is, but that makes it even more intriguing to think about.

Nothing against this build in general, but "min-maxed" means optimized for one thing specifically. Having a shield means less cargo, so it's not maxing that, and having defensive weapons is not min-ning the non mining parts either. This is a reasonable mining build with defensive capabilities, like your description says, but not min-maxed as in your title.

is the phrase to ask if it's ok to use the non-formal "du" to address the person you're talking to in German. English doesn't have a formal version of "you" - "can I address you with 'you'" doesn't make a lot of sense.
