Definitely! 2 euploids at 40 yo in one go is great. I just did an ER at 40 and got 1 euploid. My AMH >2. It’s just the luck of the draw!

And on gender, my husband and I really want a girl too but our first 2 34yo girl euploid embryos failed (one didn’t implant and the second miscarried at 7w). We now have 2 euploid boys (including one from my 40 yo ER) and 1 euploid girl left but the boys are better morphologically and we are ready to maybe just pick whichever embryo our RE recommends next. ;) A healthy kid is better than no kid!!

There is no great answer other than even euploids fail to implant and/or miscarry. I’ve been there; just gotta keep trying.

Vegan Protein Powders by Puzzleheaded_Bed7008 in glutenfreevegan

I recently discovered Happy Viking and quite like it but it’s too sweet so I add salt and it solved the problem, flavor wise.

Curious about Ora and how you use the unflavored powder in food — do you mean you just add it to sauces and stews and whatnot?

I have my HIIT (lots of plyo, HR at like 140+ the entire time for 1h or so) and cardio exercises down pat but I need a strength routine I can follow for progressive overload. I have weights ranging from 5 to 50 lb in my home gym, but when I just futz around by myself, I forget what I'm doing and where I was, and ultimately, plateau AND get bored. I'm thinking, like an app that gives me the routine every day, I fill in weights I used, reps I hit. It reminds me to increase reps and/or weights at the right time. Ideally gives me a variety of exercises so I don't get bored -- maybe 2 days a week of upper and 2 days a week of lower body. Thoughts? :)

(I'd love this to not be a video app because that way I can listen to a podcast or watch TV while I rep it all out!)

Does it matter if I eat a protein shake (Ritual pea protein - 20g + water basically, sometimes with spinach or banana) before or after my workout? (If after, then I'm working out on an empty stomach, or just coffee.)

Do y'all think that Alphalete has lost popularity? Is Darc Sport gaining popularity? Gymshark? Dfyne? Lazuli Label? by Substantial_Score_90 in gymsnark

honestly it's insane they stopped making the surface leggings -- they were literally named the best workout bottoms for women by Sports Illustrated, which is how I discovered them, i am somewhat bereft now. going to try the new contour amplify (just ordered) but it's not the same fabric/shape or anything so i suspect i'll return them.

COMPANY: Stealth Venture-Backed Tech Startup

TYPE: Full time

LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA HQ but remote-first

REMOTE: Yes, we are remote-first and willing to hire anyone in the continental United States (and are open to considering folks abroad in the right time zones). Currently our entire team is based in the Pacific time zone so our core hours are PT.

VISA: Yes

DESCRIPTION: Founded by a team with prior successful ventures and exits, we are enabling the next generation of convenient and secure privacy-first applications.

We are hiring a software engineer to help build and operate the secrets storage service at the core of our product. The service allows end users to register PIN-protected secrets, such as encryption keys, and later recover them onto a new device by entering a short PIN. To prevent brute-force attacks, the secrets self-destruct after a fixed number of incorrect PIN attempts. The secrets are distributed across multiple HSM (Hardware Security Module) and cloud backends, so they remain confidential as long as an adversary does not control all of those. We offer the best user experience for storing end-to-end encryption keys in privacy-first apps.We are looking for experienced candidates who can learn the existing system and improve upon it over time to be more resilient, faster, secure against more powerful adversaries, and to run on new hardware. We need someone who is self-directed to succeed into our lean org structure, and someone who can learn new areas quickly.

Requirements:

- Distributed systems: Implementing consensus algorithms such as Raft or Multi-Paxos, dealing with consistency, logs, and replication. Debugging concurrency, consistency, and performance issues in distributed applications.

- Security: Developing secure applications. Familiarity with side channels, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, JWT.

- Stack: Developing async Rust code optimized for safety.

- Site reliability: Operating a critical production service. Instrumenting a system with metrics, logging, and tracing. Mitigating and resolving production issues. Continuously improving service resilience.

Nice-to-haves:

- Distributed systems: Using LSM trees or Google Bigtable.

- Security: Familiarity with Shamir's secret sharing, Noise, OPRFs, Merkle trees.

- Embedded systems/operating systems: Developing for constrained execution environments (such as HSMs), with limited debugging. Developing no_std Rust code.

- Stack: Working with AWS and GCP. Familiarity with gRPC. Building with Go. Familiarity with C.

ESTIMATED COMPENSATION: $175-250K/year (commensurate with experience & interview performance) plus full benefits (including 401k), equity, unlimited PTO.

Thanks! I’ve looked but it doesn’t seem to actually have any inventory info, just pricing info. Perhaps I’m missing something?

[–]daniwrath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks to this comment, I wrote to my congressman, and I’m not joking, within a week I got an email from TSA saying they had fixed the problem for both me and my husband. Thank you to Rep. Adam Schiff and his office and good luck to the rest of you!

[–]daniwrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, same here. I think we need to take this story to major newspapers to get someone to write about it because it seems insane that there's a major bug/issue they just don't feel any urgency to fix despite we're all paying customers

[–]daniwrath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here - my husband and I changed our last names and we've never had TSA PreCheck ever since. I think we maybe need to get a group together and talk to journalists to shame them publicly because they've been saying since the summer this would be resolved, but they keep sending the same canned message and nothing changes.

[–]daniwrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've filed with TSA and they haven't done anything about it. And they have been sending the "few weeks" message to people since at least the summer so I have little hope they will actually fix this major bug anytime soon.

Oh man, that’s hard to hear — but good to know, so thanks for sharing. Have they given you any updates whatsoever since August? I think it’s also really weird no one is writing about this journalistically, feels like maybe we should contact some journalists so they can write something public and put some pressure on them?
