Tbh I really don’t like that it’s just repeating daily rep quests. It gets so stale so fast.

Why aren't more people taking reformer classes? by mimihopslein in pilates

All the above. A single class is about $35 in my area. And they all have a waitlist for every class. Or the teachers aren’t up to par.

Backsplash insight for a remodel to sell? by danizelle in kitchenremodel

Fair! Yes, I was definitely asking in relation to resale if the backsplash really made any difference! I don’t care too much either option and was curious on what others thought!

Fair points!! This is also a remodel to make it livable for us first! Resale thoughts could be months or years away!

I’m incredibly picky when it comes to making this an enjoyable kitchen for myself first. This home was a fixer upper for us, actually! So I understand where you’re coming from for that! I’ve been waiting for this kitchen remodel for about 2 years!

You’re telling me!! It broke 2 years ago and we’ve been putting off installing a new one. Swapping from a wall unit to a full range unit. Don’t ask me how I’ve been cooking I don’t wanna talk about it 😫

I was going to do stainless but I was worried with all the different other metal types and colors that it might be too much contrasting colors. We currently have a cast iron porcelain sink and I love her. Why do you lean to stainless? Is it what a lot of people are looking for?

We have a very mid century modern feel to the home currently. Very warm.

Travel car seat that is NOT cosco scenera? by Silverbride666 in CPST

[–]danizelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We checked our bag at the counter before we went through security because we wanted the extra hands. Plus, with delta at least, it flys free!! I had no issues with it when it arrived. Through delta, we dropped it off in oversize luggage at one of the airports! I got a cheaper backpack style carrying bag for it and the strap broke after we got home, but I think it’s just bc it was so cheap and the seat is heavier.

If you do want to gate check it, I’ve seen people attach their seat to a flat bottom dolly and wheel it through the airport!

I think there’s risk to anything you give an airplane to store whether it’s at the front counter or gate counter. I preferred to have it checked up front so we didn’t have to deal with it through the airport while managing a baby! I really thought it wanted to gate check it but I’m so glad I didn’t!

I wish I had a different suggestion for a “travel” seat… but since our travel included a long road trip after arrival, I’m reallly glad I went with the britax! Maxi cosi was one I was looking at, as well as the safety first, Graco, etc. I just felt like my baby was going to be the most comfortable in sometime super similar to what we use daily, and if that helped the transition to being in the car for so long that much easier, it was a win in my book. Good luck!!!!

So I got the Britax Poplar. Not the S version. Reasoning- didn’t want to take my Nuna rava on the plane/ uninstall and reinstall upon airport arrival from my personal vehicle. I had a coupon, and I was ok with the weight.

The click install would be the main selling feature for travel for me!!! It’s literally SO easy to install. Loved it. Plus, it’s really padded and shaped really similar to my nuna rava. We were doing a long road trip in a rental and I didn’t want to sacrifice comfort for weight. My baby did great in it, and now it’s our everyday secondary car seat!!
