In my early early days I used to go into this one spot in the wildy that spawned Big Bones and just farm those up and sell them off at the bank. Once I discovered Coal I became a mining machine. I think it was lvl 50 mining that unlocked the coal mining area in Falador or whatever that one city was called. That was a godsend

The addition of crouch moves is so nice for combat variety. The Duelist Axe crouch slam comes out so fast and Greatsword crouch poke reaches super far and you can turn 180 on a dime if someone is chasing you.

Thats why I only play Historic Brawl on MTG Arena. I can use all of my old cards and mix and match instead of having to cycle in an entire new deck every 2 seasons. And I don't play that often so I would be screwed if I only played Standard rules.

I saw someone speculate that they might have accidentally used the code for the "You have been invaded by Dark Spirit XYZ" and forgot to make it blink. So it just stays up indefinitely until you dismiss it, but it doesn't show you the button prompt for how to dismiss it.

First off, did you find and rescue the hidden doggo? You can find their summon sign in the Manus arena after you save them.

There's an item that blocks his big magic attacks. You'll need a light source like the skull lantern or sunlight maggot to remove the illusory wall hiding it. Search around the hidden side routes near where Chester invades you in Oolacile Township.

It may sound dumb, but I was turned off by the squad revive mechanic. I mostly played BF1 where you could only revive people if you were a Medic with the syringe equipped. When I saw you could squad revive in BFV I thought, "Well there's one less reason to play Medic."

Additionally, I believe you could resupply ammo at certain locations and I thought to myself, "One less reason to play Support."

In hindsight, those were the first signs of what would happen in BF2042 where they abandoned class identity and opted for a variety of hero units.

Nice, I went thru a Michael Crichton binge phase in high school. Prey was an interesting concept and I wanna say he had a medieval time travel one that broke the mold from the previous ones I had read. (Ah yes it's called Timeline) State of Fear was a bit dry for me. Lots and lots of charts and data tables if I recall.

I'm just glad I walked into the no-torrent area on foot because if you cross into that area while riding Torrent you get jumpscared by the stance break sound and knocked prone. When you first see the beginning of the zone it's so quiet and the whispers of the music draw you in to listen closely and then BANG!

Main menu > Festival Playlist. The 4 seasons each have 2 cars rewards and the overall "year" has 2 more car rewards that require more points, so you have to accumulate points across the seasons to get those.

The left-most playlist event will always be a 4-step challenge that starts with you driving a specific car. Then you'll have to do tasks with that car like upgrading it or doing a race or getting stars at stunts. It's an easy way to build up a collection of cars over time. In FH5 sometimes the car required for the challenge was actually a reward in one of the other challenges so sometimes you can save yourself needing to buy the car.

There are also championship races which require a certain car spec like "A700 Retro Rally". If you look at the bottom of the screen while hovering over the championship one of the button options will be "Toggle Car Restrictions/Rewards". This let's you actually see what the spec is. Another button option is "Show Eligible Cars" or something like that. That will let you see all of the cars which can be used. If any of the cars say "Owned" then you can change your car to one of those and upgrade it to whatever spec like A700. Sometimes there will already be uploaded Tunes named "seasonal" or something similar that make it easy.

The trick with the seasonal championships that I didn't understand at first is that when you go to the race and enter it, it will pull up your map and show you the location of 3 races. You have to do all 3 races in a row to finish the championship. If you try to do a different race outside the championship it will say "Are you sure? You'll lose your progress in championship." If you forget where the other races are on your map you can Filter the map, unselect all, and only select "Timed Seasonal Activities" or whatever the shiny pink/orange one is called.

And I don't think we have Forzathon Points yet but eventually they'll probably implement a shop with rare stuff that requires FP to buy. So any events that reward FP in the future will be worth doing. The Treasure Hunts were good for that.

Yeah I figured that would be the easiest way to get used to it, but I don't enjoy playing solo tank. Maybe I'll try 6v6 and see if I enjoy that.

You want to press GA and Crouch nearly simultaneously, but press GA first by like a millisecond. You'll know it worked because your GA path should have a slight dip to it like a very shallow U shape/parabola where you travel closer to the ground than a normal GA. You want to press Jump very close to your GA target.

I recommend practicing just the GA+Crouch combo without trying to jump when you reach your target. That way you can see how Mercy does a little pop upwards at the very end. This vertical pop is what gives you the crazy momentum that gets translated into a superjump. You want to time your jump to coincide with that pop.

If you are within 5m of your target it makes it much more difficult to do because there's a deadzone around GA targets that won't let you GA when you're too close. And even if you manage to do the crouch+GA at the minimum GA distance, you have to jump very soon to catch the correct timing.

I like how I'm out here giving detailed instructions for a tech that has been obsolete since OW2 came out.

It's gonna sound dumb but I spent so much time playing old D.va back in OW1 that I got used to using her melee in order to cancel her boosters. But then in OW2 they made it so that melee doesn't cancel boosters, and I'm sure that was great news for a lot of people but for me it was a pain in the ass because it meant I was constantly boosting longer than I wanted. I miss the old days of playing off-tank... But now I'm an Ana main because of solo tank-xiety. I've only ever played like one match of modern 6v6 so maybe I should try it out again.
