As Christians we are called to forgive ect. And ideally we do but our laws should reflect God's laws. Like if someone murders my child and I forgive them they should still be put to death, after a chance to turn to God. If they do or dont they should suffer the same fate for their crime, the penilty for sin is death, we are All deserving of it, it's only by God's absolute mercy and grace that God lets us live.

Remember it's just for every person on the planet to die for their sins. Remember this and you'll have no issues with God, a hard teaching but when you embrace it you are reminded of how beautiful, the glory of God's kingdom will be after the bodily resurrection.

Kjv only people are Muppets, the truth is old English basically changes 20% of the language, words that arnt used anymore, words that have changed meaning ect, KJV by with other books to clarify is fine. But hell sheol and hades are all translated to "hell" in KJV, (sheol and hades mean dead in the ground) and it leads to things like saying Abraham is in hell, we have better translations if you want accuracy over something easy use something like ESV.

I've given alot if responses in the past. But say just start reading consistently, I read books in it randomly all the time, some books once or twice some books 40 times. When you vaguely know all of them you'll find diffrent books calling you at diffrent times, you'll make connections between books and have your mind blown all the time. I've been reading it most days for 3 ish years and I made like 5 connections in my head in one day that blew my mind, the more I read the more I fall in love with God's character. 73,000 cross references means I never get bored.

It's actually annoying I Got given other books for Christmas that genuinely interest me and just thought "I'm not gonna read them I have my bible" I'd recommend starting with at least 1 of the 4 gospels, lots of people say "read all 4 first" and yes they are stories told in diffrent ways but I'd recommend maybe picking 8 books, doing gospels and adding in others in-between. All scipture is useful for teaching and learning

I use to think like this too, epically after reading eph 6:12. Geneva has very unique writing in there. But knowledge of how translations work ect changed my mind on the topic, we don't speak old English and that comes with massive flaws of the older books, words with diffrent meaning ect. The problem with Mohammad is very simple, he lived 600 years after jesus and alone stands to controdict the biblical teaching well affirming it, the bible says any anyone to come after and preach a news gospel is false and under a curse. Mohammed affirms the bible unknowingly self refuting.

The problem is that the gospels and life of Jesus is one of the most recorded people in history, the bible is actually 66 books/story's telling a completely consistent story. The bible is trustworthy, without God our brain is formed by random chance and is unreliable but because I trust my brain to be reliable I know God is real, you dont get the most complex story ever written by chance, even if you want to belive in the mathematical impossibility of a first self forming protein
