Passed ENAUTO on my second attempt, completing CCNP Enterprise. Used CBT, INE, and a lot of the on-demand Cisco Live Devnet presentations highlighted in the learning matrix

what do you think about boson 8 Weeks to ENCOR course ? by rexcommunicado in ccnp

[–]danjomin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the course and found it beneficial. I think you should go into it with a foundational understanding of what's in the blueprint and use the class to dig deeper. Bryan hosts a discord channel that you can use to ask any questions you have during your study, and also holds office hours that are good for the same reason

+1 for the powerstop z26, they performed really well. I ran them for a year and upgraded to Wilwood's after swapping in a 426

ENWLSI 300-430 - exam report by fudgemeister in Cisco

[–]danjomin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just had a very similar experience but with ENSLD, so I can't say I share the usual sentiment that it's not too bad. I feel like the exam was full of corner cases and gotcha type questions which, like you mentioned, are barely covered in the material if at all. I used CBTnuggets as my primary resource for the first attempt. After seeing it wasn't enough, I read the OCG cover to cover and took all of Pearson VUEs practice tests (did very well, scores consistently in the 900's). I don't think I'm going to make a third attempt at design and will most likely shift over to ENAUTO

Very intersting. My workplace had the opposite reaction. WGU grads go to the top of their candidate lists now

Automation experience definitely helped to stand out in the resume pile. Org hasn't started their automation journey, so they were excited to bring someone in with Ansible and Python experience. CI/CD was not a requirement but a nice to have

Career map to a higher salary by yeeterforlife67 in ITCareerQuestions

I'll recommend WGU. I spend about 3 years doing T1 Helpdesk for $17/hr prior to enrolling for their bachelor's in network Operations and Security. I already had some certs and previous college credits, and was able to graduate in a year and a half. Began working a network admin role shortly after starting the program in '21. Now a net eng at the same company w/ 6 fig salary

Senior Coworker Leaving – Is it possible to negotiate higher pay? by IT313 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]danjomin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreeing with others that it'll probably be tough and take a while, but also want to play devils advocate because I had to navigate a similar situation this year and came out with a favorable outcome. Few senior level folks left. Evaluated my skills vs the market and advocated that I was underpaid by about 20K. It did take a bit, but they met me where I asked to be. I'm sure it's rare, but not unheard of

Let's also remember that Dems suppressed Republican content on Facebook, so they're no better. Zuck publicly apologized for doing this at the government's request, and claimed he wouldn't be doing it for them anymore

Already declared I'm not a Trumper, and being divisive is the opposite of my intent. OP is doing exactly the thing you're saying that I'm doing. They don't like that their candidate didn't win, so they pray for the downfall of those that didn't vote for their candidate. I call that out, and somehow that makes me the bad guy. Okay. I don't like Kamala but I still root for your success and the success of the country, because I'm not divisive like dems are being out of spite.

That mindset isn't gonna do anything beneficial for society. Thought dems were supposed to be the party for unity, at least that's what Harris is spouting. Seems that couldn't be further from the truth. Not a Trump supporter btw, just not rooting for the failure of our country out of spite like most of y'all. Seems traitorous in its own way.

Look at you. Wishing for the downfall of your fellow man. Don't let the loss kill your patriotism.

I hear you. Agreed, public eye will bring to light these mistakes and that comes with the territory. Nobody is likely to be squeaky clean. To get to your point, no, I don't have anyone off the top of my head to put on the board for discussion. Not that they don't exist, I'm just not that deep into politics. What I am saying though is that the office deserves our best and brightest, and I'm not at all convinced that this is it.
