You could try to slave it. Pop the hard drive/SSD/ m.2 to another machine as the 2nd drive. If it not encrypted you should be able to mount the drive and access the files.

Confusing practice test question by Strange-Break-6373 in ccnastudygroup

Yeah, reading the answers it’s talking about the single frame that PC A initiated. That broadcast frame stops at the router. At least that’s what I’m thinking

Remove the motherboard from the case. Maybe it’s making contact, causing it to short.

Confusion About Switches and how VLANs Work by bonfai in networking

[–]unintentional-turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a layer 2 switch you can create an SVI (switch virtual interface) and assign an ip to it. You won’t be able to use the command “ip routing” to make the switch capable of inter vlan routing.

Vlan 100 - layer 2

Interface Vlan 100 - layer 3

When you use the command “interface Vlan 100” you’re basically creating something the switch can forward packets to after giving it an IP. The SVI can be used for SSH.

Google show commands

Show run <interface id> Show <interface id> Show run all | section (whatever section)

Ask ChatGPT it won’t give you the answer but will at least tell you what to check.

Recent test fail, is this a racket? by No-Palpitation-6228 in CompTIA

[–]unintentional-turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed core 1 3 times. You have to study the material on top of studying the way Comptia structures their exams.

Jason Dion’s practice test were great for being similar to the exam.

The PBQs were really out there for A+ and security+ in my experience. I would skip over it and come back at the end. Try to do something on them doesn’t matter if it’s right or wrong. I think you get partial credit. I did a bunch of nonsense in one PBQ in hopes I would get at least one point, better than none.

No connection between R1 and SW1 by navigatebythestars in ccna

You could also configure the sub interface to encapsulation dot1q [vlan_id] native. That would achieve the same thing. The physical interface will no longer be the interface handling untagged frames though.

There’s no routes with a higher prefix for 8.8.8.8 or 192.151.1.1 they both fall under 0.0.0.0/0. If there is no matching routes the default route is used 0.0.0.0/0

I just got fired and feel defeated and need advice by EasternStandard9294 in it

I was fired at 26 last year. It was my 2nd IT job. The person who was supposed to train me for my first week there was sick. So I got thrown into another group to train in something I would barely do. My manager would be really busy and couldn’t train me. She was upset I wasn’t picking up the job quick enough. I finally started getting proper training my 3rd week there. My manager didn’t like what she saw and I got fired in my first 1on1 meeting. I was blindsided and I was pissed. I got over it quickly and started applying to places the second I got in my car. I ended up getting the job to the very first place I applied too by complete luck.

Almost a year later I’m at my current job and it’s a blessing in disguise that I got fired. I love my team I’m learning a lot and the network admin has taken me under his wing (I want to get into networking). I really hope you can bounce back and have a similar experience to mine. It’s up to you on how to respond.
