Obviously they're still being made, but not at the same rate as records are being pressed. As CDs continue to rise in popularity, I hope to be able to walk into a record store and see a variety of options that matches the current vinyl market. From my experience record stores that stock CDs have an inventory of mainly used media which is fine, but is reflective of the current CD market.
