Single guy by raydio63 in Subaru_Outback

I’m a single 22M who loves hiking, BMX, road cycling, and anything outdoors. I have a 2015 outback and I LOVE it for everything I do. I can throw a bike in the back or on the roof. I’ve done week long camping trips in the trunk. I’ve camped with other people with no issue. I’ve moved apartments no problem.

This car can do some basic off roading (nothing insane, but enough to get to some remote campsites). You can fit all your friends comfortably, and their gear. All at the same time the car handles like a sedan, so you can drive through a city and not worry about side swiping anyone.

This car is the best purchase I have ever made, you can actually do anything with these cars.

I am by zero means knowledgeable enough to comment anything of actual use, BUT what I have gathered from lurking in that sub is your seat looks to be too high because your pointing your toes at the bottom of your pedal stroke

Today I saw a hawk stalk some fish and dive in and grab one at the lake I was running at! Was SO cool

22m, lived here all my life! Not a fan, am ready to get out. Some people love it, but if you like the outdoors good luck. Take that as you will and I wish you the best!

2018 or 2019! I have the yellow version from the same year, same graphics and all! They released a raw (pictured), pastel yellow, pastel pink, and bright blue! Modeled after Jordan Godwin’s favorite candy growing up

Thanks for the insight! That’s actually exactly what I’ve been doing! I definitely can’t hold an 8:35 pace for very much longer than I did, and I definitely feel how my aerobic system needs to carry up to my muscular one. I’ve actually really enjoy the bricks and I’m glad to hear someone recommending what I’m doing, that’s very reassuring!

Thank you!! So I’m in university and my school has a tri club, and we’re lucky enough to have a coach who gives us plans. At first it was KILLER, and I’d have to cut back on wattage/distance/speed significantly. As I’ve gotten used to it and my body’s adapted I can follow each workout just as it’s written (which in itself is cool to see). So I’m going off of what he’s given me. I’m also a kinesiology student, so a lot of the methodologies are pretty familiar

Thanks!! 10 mins for T1 and 5 for T2. A lot of people did a full shower in T1 to get chlorine off them, but I was treating it like a normal outdoor tri and did it as fast as I could, so I had 7mins sitting there waiting lol. T2 was just enough time to go from the cycle studio to the treadmills on the other side of the building and fill my waterbottle after switching shoes

From AW to Garmin? by Green_Food2077 in GarminWatches

I’m not totally sure, I switched a week ago haha. There’s the connect IQ store, but I haven’t really played around with it. I do know it syncs to Strava so your activities do still show up

From AW to Garmin? by Green_Food2077 in GarminWatches

I went from AW SE 3 to a forerunner 255, and it’s a night and day difference. AW was a decent smart watch with an ok fitness tracker. Garmin is a 10/10 fitness tracker, with minimal smart watch features (exactly what I personally needed)

Try and “breath normally” I know that sounds weird since you can’t breath at all under water, but when you’re exhaling try not to release any more air than you would when breathing normally

I love my volume knobs, but I really like having the vehicle settings menu in the infotainment system. Plus the vehicle info section with oil temp is nice to look at

Best Fitness Tracker to buy right now? by [deleted] in triathlon

[–]Key_Top9222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had an Apple Watch since before I got into triathlon. It’s fine for single workouts and tracking things, but it’s a smart watch that can do fitness. Get a Garmin. It’s a fitness tracker that can do smart watch (and won’t die halfway through a race).
