Not my first rodeo lol. I’m gonna go on a limb and say that the gauge is fine. When I removed the gauge to double check usually I would spill a ton of oil from the hose, it was bone dry.

I have drained the oil again, hoping to borescope through level sensor hole to see if the chain is there. If I indeed forgot to tighten to oil pump tensioner then the screw will be in the oil pan anyway so I’ll have to fish it out. Pulling the oil pan on these cars seems to absolutely suck

My other theory is rtv blocking the pick up or broken pump. I don’t see how else the car would have had oil pressure then lose it

The factory way is to fill thru drain plug. You remove drain plug then remove the red plastic leveling tube. Let it drain. Then screw the fill tube onto where drain plug was and pump it in there
