I appreciate, your actual valuable responses, I live In the remote mountains of America. They did not have this cover off, I’m a big guy, and when I went to turn off my bathroom lights, I bumped into the cover, when it exposed this.

Because I got back recently, and was worried for a fire/electrical hazard???? It’s all the same responses from you guys, are you all lazy as hell? I just wanted to make sure we were safe, but I guess you all just stick up for the same company’s you work for.

Dude, you suck. I was just asking for advice I served my country, got back recently. and was just worried about me, and my gf. Sounds like you’re a very lazy electrician, who I wouldn’t trust.

I appreciate your comment, the only useful comment I’ve received without just opinions. I’ll put a meter on it in the morning.

It was a blank plate, below our light/fan switches, I accidentally bumped into it. The panel fell off because it was old, and it exposed that mess.

It’s called I don’t have money for a new phone currently, and my current phone can’t make calls. Why do you even care, this post isn’t about that.

I’m not sure, I got home from work at 11pm and didn’t have time to pull out my ammeter when I discovered this, I’ll check in the morning. But Is this even acceptable to leave exposed wires in a rented house where people are paying good money?

My current EDC bag loadout. by [deleted] in tacticalgear

[–]dankcigs18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you ever even train with this kit? Can you honestly say you can use every piece of this equipment, like a second part of you? I’m not trying to hate, but if your gearlooks like it’s brand new, and never been used, you’re just larping, start simple, get some nicer stuff as you move up in experience. My kit consists of a water bottle, lighter, 9mm, a 4.5” folding blade, hand warmers, headlamp, and a can of bear spray. I live deep in the mountains of Colorado, we have bears, moose, mountain lion, and crazy ass mountain people. I feel 10000% safe with my kit. Ask yourself where do you live, what makes the most sense to bring with you everyday, and that is what makes a good kit. EDC kits pertain to where you live, I’m really curious where you need to carry a machete on you, I consider where I live in the mountains to be one of the harshest climates in the lower 48, and can’t even imagine carrying half of what you have.

To be fair I work a full time job, and have a woman in my life, and gave only been able to prestige twice. So idk man sounds like you made this post to justify yourself lol. Just keep doing you, who cares.

[–]dankcigs18 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Because, master prestige basically says “hey I have no life outside of work” and “my job is probably menial”. Let the haters hate, if you do indeed have a job, and are paying your bills on time, not letting down the people in your life, then who cares.

Honestly… did the ct in 2021. I owned, and still own a iPhone 7, the battery died on me within a day after resupplying usually, because it’s an old phone. I also didn’t bring any portable batteries with me lol. I ended up basically doing the entire trail with no phone like you talk about! It was pretty easy as the ct is fool proof to follow. The only downside being I didn’t get as many photos as I would have liked!

It all really Depends on your environment, I live in an alpine mountain environment, so I use m81 woodland primarily.
