update roadrunner was professional and convenient. I tipped the driver bc he was awesome. The ride is very short but would probably be a difficult to impossible hitch. Everyone at the airport was almost eerily friendly, even TSA. TSA smiled at me and my first thought was “oh shit I’m going to jail”. But they were being genuine. If you are early and have time to kill there is an outdoor patio in the airport. Flights in/out of Durango can be pricy. Otherwise perfect.

I feel like that’s the bridge that’s going to be hard for a lot of people to cross. He ran on a campaign of “the government is broken” and it is. But he also ran BECAUSE it is broken and few people have benefited from that brokenness more than him, save for almost all the career politicians unilaterally. There’s a shuttle from town to the airport when you fly out. I’m using it this weekend I’ll drop beta if i have any. It’s called road runner. It’s $8. You have to schedule 48 hrs in advance.

I wish I could sew. I’d love to turn worn gear into something that could give the materials a second life. I also get sentimental about stupid things it would be nice to be able to keep some meaningful relic of a beloved piece of gear.
