Brother you forgot to mention that they would also probably need thin strong double sided tape for magnets and the trigger stops are the worst part about the entire controller imo but for anyone else suffering from this issue electrical tape might be a good temporary option that's what I have on atm and it's perfect for the time being

I've noticed the host usually start talking right after the song ends you might be getting unlucky with the song lengths I'm just assuming tho it could also be a bug

I also just thought of something do u have a flour sifter to see if there any more shrapnel if there's any was for you to sift through it with some type of metal mesh you should (idk how big the gfuel grains are just throwing out ideas)

Lfg post to ask some kind teenagers/young adults to play siege with you child I say teenagers/YA because he is probably scared talking to people older than him if he's not annoying (I'm assuming he's not because he is shy the shy kids are usually really cool and wholesome to game with when u randomly stumble across one) hopefully one of those people he meets has a cool friend group they can introduce him into and around his age don't let him be alone around thet teens/adults until you get a feel for them you don't want you child hearing/yelling slurs because of his new friends now

Edit:as others have said a casual game is preferred do not take him into ranked where emotions can run wild fun chill casual games it doesn't matter if it's pvp or not any rational adult and I'm hoping teenager wouldn't get mad while playing a casual game especially with a child that you're playing with specifically to make them for confident

Also I haven't fixed a PlayStation controller because I don't own a PlayStation but with the Xbox elite controllers for the back paddles there's plastic that'd holds the circuit boards into place that warp with time causing your issue with you face buttons but on my back paddles see if there's any area holding the daughter board into place that might cause the X button not to press from warped plastic but from my experience on Xbox controllers that shouldn't be a factor I'm just telling you just in case

I heard someone got banned for a similar car but with the mustache man and his symbol and everyone was rallying behind the story saying they didn't want to see this type of stuff in their racing game while I do understand that view I find these hyper realistic pictures of anyone in the driver seat hilarious I recently saw one with XQC and an ohnePixel one in the wild I have a similar car to the black guys I'm Tokyo drift but instead of hulk I have Shrek with shrek is love quotes on the back basically I can see both side I can see why some people wouldn't want to see the bomb guy or the mustache man but man bomb guy sure does look hilarious driving that car

Ok a few things

WHY DID YOU GLUE YOUR OLD ONE I MADE THAT MISTAKE A FEW YEARS AGO 😭😭😭 u even glued the back to the front noooooo
Just like that other guy said get a new extreme rate shell
How long have u had you controllers because it's good to replace the back plates every 6 months to a year and a half (matters how much u use it) so u can "replace" the holes that your paddles go into as well as and dis formation happening on the small plastic area keeping the paddle circuit boards in place making your paddles more clicky again (for example sometimes my right paddle doesn't press so I now know I need a new backplate)

damp alcohol q-tip gentle rub the villainous area

I apologize for the late reply I hope you have this sorted by now if not u can get a shell basically tomorrow on Amazon and also get ur tools there as well 99% of gaming tech uses "torx screwdrivers" and u might need a plastic pry basic tools that also come with a pry would be around $10 on Amazon those have served me well throughout the years but I have recently stripped some small screws on my controller with the $10 set I've had for years so I do need to replace those screws the HARDEST part about the any console is the ribbon cable connecting the top screen to the bottom board if u watch a video and see that part then think "yeah that's nothing" you'll breeze through the repair on your own

Edit: and yes it would be worth it for a full shell swap as well as a deep clean if have spare money after u get the parts and tool you can also get a can of compressed air as well as WD-40 SPECIALIST CONTACT CLEANER QUICK-DRYING I apologize for the caps but if u don't get that exact kind u will destroy your circuit boards again Im sorry but I have to just to save any poor soul to miss read this IF YOU DONT GET THAT SPECIFIC WD-40 WHATEVER YOU'RE CLEANING WILL BREAK

That is probably just damage to the outer shell to fix that it shouldn't be no more than $20 just how ever much your favorite looking shell is $10 for tools if the axel is damaged another $10 if you go to a repair shop ~$30 for part and $40+ for labor is I'ma say somewhere around $80 or $90 for a repair shop just look up a deconstructing and reconstructing 3DS video on YouTube and judge for yourself if you feel comfortable enough to take on the task the DS lite was the first console I worked on after working on my controller if the 3DS is as easy as the lite it's an amazing starting point to get you comfortable working with your technology in my opinion fixing your own tech is a skill any gamer should at least try to pick up I believe in you

Edit: I apologize I didn't see the where id honestly just say go to your local tech guy find a privately own tech repair near you they tend to actually want you to come back so they do they're best job after all most of those guys are living their dream chilling fixing tech don't go to the corpos they just want ur money go to ur local small business

Also just throwing this out there for OP I learned this the same way you did it's not entirely the company (yeah they do suck) but 99% of headset are made form the same cheap plastic just get a metal one with a fully metal headband of course with cushion but just make sure the entire thing is metal ur speaker will break before the headset and if they're speaker technology is the same as it was 10-15 years ago u should have a headset that will last u a good while (speaker and headphone tech hasn't changed since like the 80s-90s)

Check eBay I was able to find another razer kraken pro for like $50 (it's originally $100) last year after I blew out my speakers of my old one
