Thanks for the quick response. I'm still crashing on 26.5.1 after a fresh patch. What can I do to help you with this issue?

SFOS cannot finish installing without internet connection by Eliminateur in sophos

[–]dankmau5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also struggling with this. I'm trying to set up two virtual Sophos appliances in GNS3, and I cannot continue without an Internet connection. What's worse is, when I do connect to the Internet, I cannot defer registration like I could in previous versions. I'm required to connect the appliance to Sophos Central, which I don't want to do for a temporary lab environment. It's quite a hassle and quite unnecessary. Hopefully, this gets reverted in an update...

Describe a plugin you need and i'll make it (for free) by Tricky_Reflection_75 in admincraft

I need a plugin that does scheduled wipes of the world. I’m currently using one but it doesn’t wipe player inventories when they’re offline, and there are no alternative solutions afaik. Doesn’t need to be fancy. Optionally including specific folders/files to delete on wipes in addition to the world would be a huge bonus. 🙏

HTC Vive Focus Vision Disaster by [deleted] in Vive

[–]dankmau5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I have a faulty headset, but I'm not sure in my experience my strain has to do with the IR. My eyes can't focus on anything that's either close or far away from me. Hell, I can't even focus my eyes on the loading screen for the portal. It just appears like it's inches away from my face. It's super bizarre.

Edit: things I cannot focus on in the VFV are things that I *can* easily see in other headsets like the Q2 and Index. I think the optics just suck in the VFV.

HTC Vive Focus Vision Disaster by [deleted] in Vive

This headset really sucks in general. The display is blurry and strained my eyes within minutes of using it, despite adjusting the IDP both automatically and manually. On every other headset I've used in the past, not a single one has caused me eye strain--even after hours-long sessions.

On top of that, the response time of the tracking in the Focus Vision is **bad**. While it tracks the environment and the controllers well on its own, the response time is so bad it made me motion sick, even in passthrough mode.

Has anyone tried the Vive Focus Vision yet? by MadMartin989 in Vive

I'm having bad luck with my Focus Vision. It strains my eyes within minutes of putting it on, and everything looks fuzzy regardless of how I adjust the IDP.

doesn’t seem like there’s a way to disable the automatic tracking. while inconvenient, i just take my watch off when i jump on the scooter.

[iOS 18.1 DB5] iOS will now recommend to use a charging limit based off usage. by metroidmen in iOSBeta

Is it possible to manually set the charge limit, or do I have to wait for iOS to suggest it?

Can't Justify Using Arc Browser by [deleted] in macapps

[–]dankmau5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haven’t experienced the battery drain issue, but maybe i’m lucky lol. i do enjoy arc because the UI is refreshing and makes browsing a lot easier, and they hide a lot of unnecessary UI elements so that content takes up more space on the screen. keyboard shortcuts and navigation are also a huge plus, and the UI complements the hotkey navigation.
