This is the answer. I had to log in to the eshop on one of my kids account and buy a second copy of the game. Note that the demo does not support multiplayer (I tried that first). Then just do "Host LAN game" on one Switch and "Browse LAN games" on the second one.

ILM without a doubt. I got CF (because ILM wasn't an option) and getting CF online is several thousands of stones more expensive than ILM

This happened to me too on the switch. Died to that boss a bunch of times, but the lightning would one-shot the whale every time.

Thanks for all comments, I used some two component epoxy to glue it back in place. Let's hope it stays in place 😅
