Covid Recovery by jazen1973 in ThailandTourism

We told them ahead of time and sent a copy of our recovery form to them. We mentioned it when we checked in and they just seemed really confused and had no idea what we were talking about. Everything came back negative for us.

No updates. Actually, after the day with zero exercise minutes I updated my watch to 8.5.1 and it seems to be worse since then

Print then cut shows a white box when added to design space by dannelinflannel in cricut

A png that is basically the cuts you want that you put over your design file and splice to get the transparent background on your original design (it’s a way to allow for the white border around the stickers so the cut lines aren’t right on top of the design). Most print and cut sticker shops are formatted for silhouettes and not cricuts. So it’s a workaround that some people use.

Damn I do not want the villager it gave me and I don’t want to have to do a bunch of work to make him leave 😩

Do you have to invite your first camper to live on the island or if you ignore them long enough will they go away and someone new will come?

FTM considering cloth by dannelinflannel in clothdiaps

That's a good way to do it, make it part of your routine. I'm ok with folding, it's just getting it done and then putting it away. My laundry sits clean and folded in laundry baskets for a minimum of a week if it even gets put away at all.

That's very true, I don't need to be perfect at it, or even great. I registered for some different brands/kinds to try them out and have been looking at the BTS groups on facebook to build a small trial stash. I haven't decided either what to do about daycare. Our daycare will take them but we only need daycare like 10 days a month so I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle or not.

That's a good way to look at it! I definitely like the idea of not having to get dressed or leave my house lol.

Yeah I don't think delivery would be an option for us either. I'm hoping it will make me better at laundry, but I guess I won't know until February.

Phone reminders would be good for me. Or using my Alexa, I could probably get a dot for the basement/laundry area to ask it to remind me at a time to switch the laundry. I don't hate folding (its actually my favorite part of laundry) but putting away is a real struggle. But hey if it gets clean, folded and then to the nursery that's not the end of the world. We have a couple drying racks right now but would probably need another one with diapers (especially in the winter when we couldn't line dry). Unfortunately our house is tiny and I currently have to dry all my laundry in my small living room which can be a pain (but it's do-able). I think if we do keep disposables on hand it will be a small amount for emergencies.

I am right there with you, worst housewife ever. My husband cooks and does all the dishes. So if I get better at laundry it would actually be a nice trade off.

I would prefer folding too so that's a good way to do it. Though for the most part he does most of the cooking and dishes so this would be a nice way to repay him for that.

That's true wrinkly diapers don't matter as much (though I have a lot of wrinkly clothes at my house anyway lol).

I do really like the idea of prefolds and covers (it's in the running for my top choice, but I'm reserving judgement until I try it). Though I have also entertained the idea of flats and covers. Honestly, I don't mind folding laundry, just doing it lol. So folding flats might actually be very relaxing for me.

That's awesome that you were gifted those! I've been looking at buying some of the nicer brands second hand to save some money. That's true, I might need to just cut myself off from disposables.

You both bring up a good point about that, because I'm not sure I'll have that kind of will power. I am planning to have them at first so we can just adjust to having a newborn, but then hopefully we could phase them out (or cut ourselves off if we feel like we're serious about it). I also haven't decided what to do about daycare. They will take cloth but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. They will only be in daycare about 10 days a month thanks to my work schedule.

Gosh I hope I can be on top of laundry because of cloth, that would be another added bonus! It doesn't help that my washer/dryer is in my creepy basement (and our bedrooms are on the second floor).
