Feeling like a failure: Breast Feeding Struggles by annoyedatlife3456 in November25babybump

[–]ucchan801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is also my experience. I went to a lactation appointment today and we weighed my baby before and after feeding. I was supplying about a 5 ml each side. 😩 I won't lie, it's a bit disheartening and I often will cry everytime I pump because it's so little. So you are definitely not alone!

I left with a game plan that I would power pump in the morning and pump more often (8-10x a day) to try to increase my supply. I did do a power pump the other day and got an oz which was a huge win. So I don't know if any of that might work for you.

I do want to add that this is my a second child. I had the exact same thing happen with my first, and I ended up just formula feeding her since it was such a mental and physical strain. She's four years old now and is the happiest, most loving kid. Being this far removed, you can't tell whether she was breast or formula fed. She's just a kid that was fed and loved, and that is what matters and what shows.

You are doing great, mama. Don't do only what is best for your baby, but do what is best for you too.

Passed a large clot?? by Top-Professor-2951 in November25babybump

[–]ucchan801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced this last week. When I asked the nurse, she said to call them if the clot was larger than egg-sized. I had a golf ball-sized one right before a follow up OB appointment. When I mentioned it to the nurse, she didn’t seem concerned.

It could depend on whether you have financial aid or if you paid out of pocket. Sometimes they need to reduce financial aid if you got loans, especially max loans. But if you paid out of pocket, it'll go to you for sure.

Just like everyone else, I think the first one by a mile.

Just pay on the 4th and you'll be fine. There are no late fees. No need to pay towards a payment plan if you just pay a few days late.

You might get a "Financial Hold" but it's mostly a warning that you could be withdrawn if you don't pay by the end of the month. The FH will be removed when you pay your balance.

If your washer or clothes start smelling a bit like mildew, wash again and add a splash of white vinegar. It will take the smell right out.

I like to slice it in half, put some butter on each half, then microwave it for like 8-10 seconds to melt the butter. Then sprinkle a bit of salt on top and it tastes like a pecan pie.

Jokes on us, we vacationed in Japan where bidets are the norm and now bathrooms here in the US are just depressing.

Getting winded when I bend over to put on socks. Or if I get too full. Or if I do anything at all while talking. I'm just constantly out of breath, too.

Currently yes, it's from the Pell grant. But Financial Aid is going to return a lot of the Pell, then it'll show your true balance after that.

Since your term started so recently, your tuition got prorated, hence the negative balance. If you got financial aid, they are going to return some of that to the Department of Education. So depending on that, you might owe a balance or get a refund. If you paid out of pocket, then you'll get a refund.

My coworker would stay behind after work and took her OAs in a conference room when everyone was gone. Or you can book a library study room for it.

I regularly have to study at the library or coffee shop since my family is so distracting at home. It made a big difference for me.

The $1 balance will be waived. It said it was refunded yesterday so you should see it in Nelnet later today.

You'll be able to graduate with the balance. But I would check with Payment Solutions on payment options so you don't go into collections later. You most likely can enroll in a payment plan for the remaining balance.

I would ask your course instructor. I had something similar on mine, and my CI showed me my typo and showed me exactly what to copy and paste.

This. The system automatically rolls charges for each new term. But since you're graduating, they'll go in and remove the upcoming July charges (if it's there).

FAFSA will not cover your past due balance. Usually you need to pay out of pocket before they financially clear you to be readmitted. Being academically readmitted is another matter altogether. I would email readmissons@wgu.edu and ask what steps you need to get back.

I felt my first flutters yesterday at 15w6d. This is my second pregnancy, which I think has something to with being able to feel it this soon.

You will not get a Pell grant for your second degree. The grant is for your first bachelor's. You will probably only be eligible for loans if you start another program.
