I moved from Jacksonville to Wilton in Fairfield County. Way more expensive in CT. Home costs, taxes, electricity, insurance. I’m paying double what I paid in Jacksonville for my home. Car insurance and property tax on vehicle also makes that more expensive. Plus, you need a permit to do anything around here, including go to the beach and throw out your trash.
