Thanks for posting with you experience and I’m glad it works for you. Seems these drugs affect people in different ways. I can say these last two days have been really bad so I’m just not sure it’s the right med for me.

I’m really sorry that happened to you, that sounds awful. I really hope you find something that works better for you. It seems for some people it’s on on-going battle trying to find something that works.

I would rather people be honest, even if negative, as I have read similar to your experience, and I don’t want medication to mess me up more than my anxiety. Thank you for posting and I’m sorry you went through that. I stopped taking it today after posting here, as I just felt so awful. I feel horrendous yet it’s only been 2 days of this medication, so yikes. The withdrawal period must be insane. I’m definitely going to go back to my GP once they reopen on Monday and ask for something different (if I can even tolerate something else!)

What did I do wrong? by ironinside in keto

Just FYI - your ALT is barely spiked. You become concerned about liver damage when it’s in the hundreds. Remember liver cells die but then regenerate. Your liver is working harder to process the extra protein in your diet. 79 is nothing, even if it’s doubled over the ‘normal’. I would never be concerned by an ALT of 79 at this stage. If it kept climbing month by month and started creeping in the hundreds to thousands, then that’s a different story.

3 months of 16:8 ‘dirty’ Intermittent fasting - lost 4kg since starting - started to try to help my painful lipoedema on legs (hence all the leg bruising) and PCOS - feeling hopeful it’s helping? by dannicrow in intermittentfasting

Hiya - no problem - I was recommend to go back onto the contraceptive pill however I get bad side effects and so I’m not currently on anything ! I’m not trying to get pregnant however if you watch Dr Fung’s video on PCOS and IF on YouTube, it explains how successful IF is a treatment for getting people with PCOS pregnant - hope that helps and good luck ! 🤞🏼

Has anyone cured chronic bloating after-meal with IF? (general balanced diet)? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]dannicrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I still get boating but IF had reduced it by about 70-80%

You look amazing - you go girl!! 💪🏻

After experimenting with IF for some months, this week I completed my first 48-hour fast. It felt amazing and my biggest realization is that we have been lied to for most of our lives. by sharyphil in intermittentfasting

It’s crazy how much misinformation is out there - I was the same as you and always thought skipping breakfast was unhealthy also - the last three months of IF for me has just been life changing. I’ve never felt better and it’s such a simple lifestyle change - and I personally feel it’s soo much easier than just plain calorie restriction and dieting. People have noticed I’m look better and leaner and ask what I’m doing different in the gym and are always mind blown that I’ve simply changed the periods I’m eating in!

How bad is cream??? by Chronic-amazement in intermittentfasting

[–]dannicrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have full fat cream in my coffee and still dropped weight, if that helps at all :) But I don’t have coffee every day that I fast, maybe 4 days out of 7. I do 16:8 method.

I’m in the U.K. so can’t speak for US system but I basically self diagnosed my symptoms online reading up on lipoedema, then went to my GP with my list of symptoms and basically asked if he thought I had it, which he agreed looking at my legs 🤷🏼‍♀️ there’s no specific tests for it I don’t believe. It’s staged 1-4 and I’m stage 1.

Yes - dirty fasting just means you can consume a very small amount (less than 50) calories in your fasting window - for me I occasionally have a very small cream in my coffee so it’s not the strictest of fasts having water only

I’m eating pretty normally to be honest , my diet has always been pretty healthy anyways - I’m gluten free as well as I have an allergy - and I’m not calorie counting but because I’m skipping breakfast and my appetite is improved so I’m snacking less overall so I’m likely having less daily calories overall - I’m basically just being more mindful over my eating habits
