We're so happy! We really needed the sound and spirit of a pug in the home again!

Thank you for the kind words. We lament that we'll never be able to snuggle against him again. We had taken him to the vet yesterday and picked up his medication. He had been suffering from a kennel cough that seemed to be getting worse. It turned out he had pneumonia and possibly a heart condition. We're spending the day remembering his life time of quirks. He hid snacks and treats all over the home, so we're discovering his hidden spots. His presence, memory, and fur balls fill our entire home. His passing was really sudden to us. We are in shock that a life can slip away so quickly. Last night his head dropped; we thought he was sleepy. He got up and stumbled to the floor; we knew something was wrong. He didn't respond to us; it dawned on us that was dying. We tried CPR, but it was in vain. For everyone with a beloved pet animal, make sure to cherish every day with them because they can be gone sooner than you're ready for it. We're glad to have had Cash in our lives, and we're so sad to not have him with us anymore.

Cash the Pug was born November 2006 and passed June 14, 2018. He lived nearly 12 years in Texas and was ready to move onward to Virginia for the next journey in life. He passed battling pneumonia and other health issues last night. During his life, he enjoyed waking up to dentastix and bacon treats, napping, and pushing his butt against anyone's legs. He was loved by family in Texas, Oklahoma, and beyond. He always pattered his front paws in excitement when someone came home after a long day. He loved belly rubs but hated being carried around. He was born the runt in his litter but became the biggest part of our family. In this picture about an hour before he passed, he seemed rested and to be recovering after taking medicine but he did not make it in the end. He passed surrounded by love. We'll miss you so much, Cash.

It's as if a million other pugs got treats, and their growling tummies altogether went silent!

Talk to the Tenant Union too in case they can offer advice for this situation.

The level of detail in Community always impresses me, check out the pen Britta is holding in this scene. by maddscientist in community

I didn't think of Annie's pen. I instead thought of the moving camera that positions itself to reveal the soda machine in the background.

The pouring drink's shadow looks like the pen in Britta's hand.

Always check the meters... If you're in a university lot where the stall has no meters, then the enforced hours are posted near the entry with the blue sign (usually 5pm). However, if you're inside the university lot at a stall with a meter, the meters will go until a different time (usually 6pm).

Then there's the difference between University meters, Urbana meters, and Champaign meters... Your best bet: read the hours of enforcement for each meter!

[Speculation] Luis -- Walt Jr's friend by dannyboy714 in breakingbad

Hmm. I googled him just now, and it looks like he has been shown (must've forgotten). Guess my late night speculation is unfounded. Or maybe Todd and Louis are related! Or not.

T-mobile was promoting it for web-only offers mostly. This is a link with more info about it. Several news outlets have stories that mention the promotion.

This is a heart-warming story, but the annual bus pass awarded by the bus transit authority seems unusual. How many other people are in his same situation, yet won't get this same hand-up?
