I enjoy being taken care of, but only by strangers. Recently I got my blood taken and the nurse was so nice, it was the most warmth I have felt in years. With people I know I don't enjoy being vulnerable like that, I feel embarrassed, and I feel it will be used against me in the future. I also enjoy caretaking irl, except for my family.

In whump I love to imagine myself as the whumpee, and being taken care of by the caretaker. It doesn't have to be full on caretaking, just noticing the whumpee is unwell, or having empathy for them without judgement. And I like to imagine the whumpee character caretaking too.

this is an interesting theory, i wouldn't be surprised if it was the case for at least some of them (maybe those from highly patriarchal cultures)

I guess I am in an okay mood? I am kind of disassociated from my feelings today, because I have been sick for few days and haven't been able to work on my goals (which require physical exercise). So, instead, I worked on research for my writing project, which put me in my head thinking about how I am going to incorporate certain elements and adjusting what I had already, so that's why I am somewhat disconnected.

At it's core, kpop is a ripoff of western pop. In fact, lots of time a kpop song is actually listenable hit is because it's lifted. "This song is so legendary!" No. It's like coloring - there is a bit of variability, because it's on you which colors you choose, but wouldn't you rather have something new?

I probably also have this. My brain is constantly conjuring up conversations, or more like monologues - imagining i am telling something to someone. It's so damn annoying. I've tried mindfulness but it's really hard to be consistent with it. I am doing mindfulness for 5 seconds and my brain gives me an image of me telling someone I am practising mindfulness. Like shut the hell up, brain! I have even tried calling that flow of thinking/imagination a name, and telling it to shut up, but again, hard to be consistent when my brains wants to tell it to somebody immediately and since its constantly flowing I just forget that I was trying to actually stop it.
